Sam's Thai Kitchen: Big Flavors, Big Portions, Homey Vibes Sam's Thai Kitchen offers a satisfying Thai experience with generous portions and reasonable prices. Most dishes hover around the $20 mark, but you definitely get your money's worth! What I loved: Crispy Pork Thai Basil: This was the star of the show! Perfectly crispy pork with a fragrant and spicy basil sauce. A must-try! Flavorful Curries: The curries burst with authentic Thai flavors. Rich, aromatic, and delicious. Homey Atmosphere: The restaurant has a cozy, inviting interior that makes you feel right at home. Lively Music: The upbeat music added to the dining experience and created a fun atmosphere. Huge Portions: Be prepared to take home leftovers! The serving sizes are incredibly generous. What could be improved: Pad Thai: While everything else was fantastic, the Pad Thai was a bit of a letdown. It lacked the complexity and balance I usually look for in this dish. Overall: Despite the slightly underwhelming Pad Thai, Sam's Thai Kitchen is a great spot for a casual and satisfying Thai meal. The generous portions, reasonable prices, and flavorful dishes make it a winner. Just be sure to order the Crispy Pork Thai Basil – you...
Read moreThere are not many authentic Thai restaurants in Brisbane. The prevalent majority have been considerably modified to suit people with bland taste buds. This is not the case with Sam's Thai Restaurant. As a person whom lived off and on in Thailand for many years, I can confirm that Sam's Thai Kitchen has very authentic and delicious food. There is no comparison between authentic Thai and Australian bastardised Thai food. Authentic is simply divine and the other is just disappointing in comparison. I particularly love their; tom yum, tom ka gai, jungle curry, pad kra pow, larb moo, som tam, pad see eu, tom saap etc. Most Australian's won't have tried these dishes, but you should, if you haven't, as they're absolutely divine. The only downside of this restaurant is the lack of free parking available. But the train station is nearby, paid parking, buses etc. Also, the food is very affordable and well worth the money. Seriously, this is probably the best Thai restaurant in Brisbane. Do yourself a favour and...
