Went to this new place on a whim - the only beer brewery in the valley apparently. It’s a spacious, cool, industrial place with a relaxed vibe and the massive shiny brewing tanks at the back. Tried five of their beers (a tasting paddle is only $16) and all were tasty fresh versions of standards (porter, IPA etc). The real surprise here is the food: someone in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. Crispy pork bites were especially ... dare I say it... transcendental. Layers of crackling, a thin smear of rendered buttery fat melting in to satisfyingly lightly chewy meat, with a cinnamon note to the crispy tangy slaw. I hope they get a lot of business so it stays open! Will be back. Edit: came back for fish and chips and the biscuit ale - delicious!

Have been dying to pop down to Soapbox Beer for months, and what better occasion than to take dad on Father's Day! The beer tasting paddle is a must to get a broad spectrum of the delicious brews this local crew pours on tap. My fave was the biscuit beer while for dad it was the "Chin Wagen Kolsch" which he has affectionately described as a tropical beer! And then there is the food... Oh. Em. Gee. 🤤 Some of the best pork belly I've ever ever had!!! Wagyu was a stunner, and the eggplant with sweet beer miso was next level. Seriously good stuff going on at this joint. Highly recommended. A big thanks to Luke for looking after us too. We will definitely be back for more!!!

I've tasted my fair share of craft beers but Soapbox has the craft beer that has stolen my heart - Sweet Talker Biscuit Ale. I get it every time I go and will bring in my growler to take some home as well! A few of the other beers are pretty good too. Staff are super friendly and the place is well laid out and is always immaculate. It's located conveniently just a short walk from The Valley train station. The food is pretty amazing too. This afternoon we went with the chicken karage bao and pulled pork bao. Both were delicious and I REALLY like the wasabi mayo sauce on the the karage.

Just called them about a concert this Sunday/Australia day because their website states that they are closed on Sundays! The mobile phone number given answered straight away and informed me that they are open on days when concerts and gigs are planned! This Sunday is Catalano/ Enforcer and a couple of other bands! If u don’t already have tix, get them! Very happy with the way my enquiry was handled! Bring on Sunday! 😎 So Sunday night was an absolute blast! I was welcomed to sit in the downstairs air conditioning while I waited for the upstairs stage area to open! I had 2 schooners of Rapid Escape beer which is brewed on premise and it was soooo good! $13.50 a schooner and 8.5% alcohol! Needless to say I was buzzing by the time the concert started! Revenger, Catalano, Livewire and Enforcer were insane! What a great venue to have these awesome...

What’s more to love when you find a place who serves ice cold beer and has mouth watering menu for everyone’s taste buds. If you are someone who likes service where it’s prompt, efficient and people that genuinely care then this is the place to go! We went there for an afternoon for a date night and we absolutely loved this place. It’s a place where you can have various occasions such as birthdays, Christmas parties or just a get together. Do you know what else this place can offer is a discussion on various topics of this world. You can organise events there to speak about your passions and dreams. Or you can use this soapbox brewery to entertain the crowd with live music. Don’t wait for an opportunity to go to this brewery go make a day of it and explore what this valley has to offer. ✌🏻🙌🏻 P.s do I need...
