Sky and Lotus — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I went to an event hosted by this bar, fully expecting to walk into a club. It was just a bar. They had a complimentary gift included in the ticket on entry, and they ran out before we got there, despite literally having a headcount by virtue of ticketing the party.

The place seemed kind of run down, or grubby. It's hard to tell in poor lighting but it was a little gross. The bar was really underwhelming too. They have specialty cocktails, which is cool. I ordered one with pineapple, and I could not taste any pineapple, I don't think it was in there. The menu had no mention of lemonade, and it was about 60% lemonade. They don't have soda guns so they were using open cans, so it was flat lemonade as well. I actually didn't drink most of the expensive drink I paid for.

The venue's choice of DJ was terrible. People kept getting up to dance and just as everyone was into it he'd change to some totally random song. The guy couldn't commit to a beat for more than a minute.

I had a personal issue and was isolated, tbh a bit afraid and had no idea what to do. Then one of their bar employees I think his name was Josh(?) completely saved my night. Without him I wouldnt know what to do. I didn't get to give a proper thank you that night, but from the bottom of my heart thank you Josh, you went above and beyond and didn't have to help me as much as you did. I really can't thank you enough. Their staff exemplifies the club. 10/10 will...

It’s the worst club ever in Brisbane. Charging people with money and not letting them enter till 1 hour plus and saying no refund when you have paid for 10 people, calling managers no one coming even after coming down can’t settle and asked to call friends again when everyone already left while waiting, keep saying vip need to enter first from another line . Rude people, racist with rude bouncers and People! Worst place to be in Brisbane for club. Will never go...
