Thai Pan Kitchen — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The quality of food and service at Thai Pan Kitchen is second to none! I came here on Mother's Day and was dissapointed with how long the food took but understand it was an extremely busy day and they take no shortcuts in preparing each customer's order.

I returned today and have to say that the food provided on both occasions was absolutely delicious with muliple depths to its flavours.

The price was very reasonable and generous in serving size as well.

Whilst all dishes were delicious, the larb (chicken), pork belly fried rice, basil stir fry and beef masaman curry all deserve special mention.

Highly recommend!

Also please remember how important it is to support local restaurants during this COVID-19 pandemic. These restauranteurs put their heart and soul into providing their dishes and need to be supported at all turns.

We need our local restaurants to survive this pandemic for things to truely return to normal so your support...

Any old thai-on-high fans missing the best yellow curry chicken in all of brisbane, well I’m happy to say this new thai place have nailed it! Every time I try that dish elsewhere I get disappointed, and I was hesitant to try it just because it’s in the same location but it is as good if not better (if that was possible!). The quality of ingredients amazing, chicken tender and potatoes cooked properly, not too spicy (for us yellow mild curry sooks 🤣) and my best friend who has also appreciated this same dish for 20yrs at thai on high agrees this is it! Will be back for round two soon (when we can escape our kids & husbands) to test out the panang! Service was kind and great considering all the uber pickups - we’ve refound brisbane’s thai secret! Thankyou you’ve made our day!!! And thankyou our favourite Vietnamese place for being shut on a Tuesday or we would never had stumbled...

Very poor attitude from the waitress at the door.

I placed an order online at Thai Pan Kitchen and received a confirmation email. When I arrived to pick up the food, the woman at the door was aggressive and defensive and told me that they never received my order and that I must have placed it incorrectly. I showed her the confirmation email and she then held up her iPad and said “see, the order isn’t there”. My order was on her screen and said “Cancelled”, and when I pointed this out, she retorted “well you ordered too late”, even though I arrived before the time slot I selected on their website.

I would be understanding of a problem with their website, however, the dismissive and aggressive attitude of the waitress on Tuesday night is completely unprofessional. There was no attempt to accommodate our order even though there were people picking up deliveries...
