👀 Eddie’s has a bit of a cult following among locals and travelers alike, known for its rock ‘n’ roll vibe and legendary fried chicken. Word of mouth and rave reviews brought me here. Attached to the Pink Hotel, Eddie’s Grub House has that laid-back, dive-bar charm, as you walk through the doors, and you’re immediately hit with vintage rock posters, dim lighting, and the kind of energy that says, “You’re in for a good time.” 💥Think dive-bar chic with a retro twist. The decor screams rock ‘n’ roll, with walls adorned in band posters, a playlist full of classics, and a cozy, slightly grungy feel that’s inviting yet effortlessly cool. 💁🏼‍♀️The staff here are as casual and friendly as the vibe. Happy to keep your drinks flowing, they make sure you feel right at home. 🍷A cold beer paired perfectly with the fried feast. The drinks menu is straightforward, offering everything from tap beers to some non-alcoholic options. 🍴I cannot go past the Southern Fried Chicken Tenders: These are the MVPs of Eddie’s menu. Crispy, golden perfection on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. If you try one thing here, make it this! ✨Eddie’s Grub House is the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll dive bar serving comfort food that hits all the right notes. From the legendary tenders to the chilled vibe, it’s a must-visit when in Coolangatta. This is our regular spot on holidays. Eddie’s, you’ve stolen my heart—and my taste buds.

Our wonderful informed driver Nandalal said we just had to go here on our way to airport before flying back home to Melbourne. He said best burgers and my 14yr old son agreed! The place is a cult classic and delivers on its grunge quirky reputation. Dingy, red and dark = cool hangs, packed with mix of regular young locals, datenights & similar 1st timers and yes the food fingerlickin good The state of my sticky fingers and amount of white paper napkins used whilst wolfing down the buffalo blue cheese jalapeno chicken wings (10 for $20) would win any competition. I literally could not finish more than 1/3 of the serving and washed myself from the deliciously fun dining experience My son had the $26 dbl cheeseburger and said “ it's dang good” Apologies… food photos did not do the dishes justice due to the red dark tones inside Had the opportunity to blast my son & driver out of the realm with a pinball game, proud moment! Go eat, listen and play there [You are literally sitting on the border of NSW & QLD]. Melbourne sends you and highly recommends.

A Gritty, No-Frills Bar with Seriously Good Burgers This grungy little spot delivers an unapologetically raw and edgy vibe—one that leaves you feeling just a little dirty, but in all the best ways. The space is tight, it can get loud (especially when live music is on), and the atmosphere leans heavily into the dive-bar aesthetic. But the food? Absolutely top-tier. These burgers might just be some of the best on the coast, with bold flavors that match the energy of the place. Pair them with a solid selection of beers, and you've got a winning combo. Despite the gritty atmosphere, families still seem to bring their kids—a surprising choice for a night out, but hey, to each their own. If you're after a spot that’s rough around the edges but delivers where it counts, this one’s worth a visit.

If you want a saucy burger then look no further. This place does hands down the best burgers we have ever had, yep they are big, yep they are fresh, yep they are saucy so dont wear your good or white clothes haha.

My partner and I tried them for the first time on a friday night, we do recommend getting there early to get a table to eat at. It is a small venue so if you bag a big table and your a small group, share the room/table and make new friends.

We loved the food and atompshere so much we came back the next day Saturday lunch time. It was quite during the day so if you want a garenteered table and some space, then go for lunch.

They have great food, great service, great cocktails and even their own merch. And yes we bought some of their shirts. They had some awesome designs and they even had a shirt were some of the money for it was donated to the fireers.

They do also have a small toilet/bathroom to wash your saucy sticky fingers after you power through their food.

Its so tempting to order everything on the menu, and its bloody hard to finish it all but you just dont want to stop eating!

We will be coming back for life and bringing all our...
