machi machi Southport — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I ordered a milk tea but was delivered by a fruit tea or whatever, because that there were three of them in total, I didn’t realise about this until I was back at my hotel. Because this is completely the wrong type of drink that I was ordering, at least you give me a different type of mild tea I won’t say a word. But literally how can you mix a milk tea with a fruit tea?! The thing drove me mad about the store was when I was trying to contact the store about the wrong order they made by the phone number they provided, no one answered! At first I thought it might just be a coincidence of missing the phone call or somehow, but I phone the store several time but there is still no reply and no one get back to me, any reply or do anything about it. Strange because I am sure I called during the time that you still opens, if you are ignoring the phone calls anyway, why are you giving us the phone number? Just acting like you are going to answer...

First of all, the product is really good - the drinks are fresh and delicious with nice ingredients. But last night it was just chaos - it was really busy and I waited half an hour for my drink. Hey, it happens I guess - then it became obvious that they forgot my order. Again, sometimes it happens but this is quite annoying because their order system seem very chaotic and you could see mistakes are bound to happen. What really grinds my gear though is the total lack of acknowledgement for their mistake - no apologies, just brought my order to the kitchen and handed my drink once it was finally made. Again, I know sometimes things can get crazy but it doesn't take much to just acknowledge a mistake and make a simple gesture like a free drink or something to show your customer...

As an employee working in Southport, I find myself needing to visit Machi Machi at least twice a week to soothe my soul. I simply can't resist ordering their Sun Moon Lake Black tea and Tie Kwan Yin Oolong tea. Whether it's the original tea or with the addition of Cheese Foam, Regular Sugar, and less ice, it's always excellent. I'm quite particular when it comes to food and drinks, and Machi Machi truly does an outstanding job.

Moreover, their customer service is top-notch. The staff is not only beautiful but also friendly and very patient. Even when I have numerous requests, they always have a smile on their faces. If you find yourself in Southport and are looking for something to drink, you must give Machi...
