Mad Burger Southport — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Its alright, tastes like burger I would make at home (tried the original burger) Here is what I think, -I ordered it because it had a 2 for 1 deal with seems pretty decent deal at that time. -The burger tastes like ketchup+aioli for majority of time because it has too much sauce. -The patty is very rigid, very chewy and dry -I didnt get any cheese, the description clearly says that cheese is applied with picture of cheese on display and I received none. Disappointing. -1 piece of tomato which is the size of 1/4 of the burger. Did not taste the tomato in the burger at all. Disappointing -The sauce is nothing special at all, just tastes like woolworths burger sauce -The bun is also not burger suited.(I got the milk bun) its too soft and full of air, not toasted at all.

Just original burger that tasted like homemade burger and also didnt receive cheese and got 1piece of tomato. Meh, expected more from restaurant that is focused on burgers. Not something I would come back for.

Only good thing might be that food quality is clean and fresh. Definitely better in this compared to some other...

At first bite taste good, but later I started taste more bacon then meat. Meat was bit tough and the bacon taste bit old. Not sure if its premade but it tasted weird. Me and my gf had both weird taste in mouth even next day. (She feeled more chips seasoning, I more the bacon) Chips and sweet potato chips were good and cripsy. Seasoning of normal chips taste great but as I mentioned, its stays in your mouth for hours. Price great 40$ for 2 menus, interior feels comfy and clean, service good and fast. (But were not busy)
