The worst experience ever for years spending my money at this shop. Today I visited the shop around 12.30pm Saturday and ordered my usual drink Lemon winter melon with half sugar. I was told by an extremely rude staff that they don’t make 50% as they don’t put any sugar in there. She told me whatever drink that I order for half sugar, they were made just as usual because staff did not bother to inform customers. That’s not very nice when I had been served the drink that I never asked for. She raised her voice, talked over me and tried to blame other staff and even her manager for not telling customers. Her rude attitude made me sick as I only tried to say why I never got told about this. Sometimes the only word you need to say is sorry, that’s all. You should have come back to kindergarten to learn how to say sorry and stop trying to talking over customer. Her voice was extremely loud when tried to covering up of how they make the drink.
I dont care how you make the drink lady, i only care about i have been lied for the whole time and the way you talked to me. If she said Sorry for the misunderstanding, I would just let it go.
P/s: The lady with short curly hair usually work at night time is the best. Very accommodating and friendly. I never had issue with that lady but the one today is always rude and always seems like she has...
Read moreOur go-to for bubble tea, we actually make the drive to get bubble tea here in southport!
We've enjoyed the brown rice, matcha, jasmine, and taro milk tea cold - i prefer the first three most as the taro milk tea, although delicious, is a little too sweet for me. I've also found that sometimes my milk tea is made a little bit sweeter (more condensed milk?) than usual even though I prefer it at the normal level of sweetness - so i think it depends on the person making it.
I recommend trying two different toppings together as it really gives that mix of textures which makes the bubble tea even more addictive - i've tried pearls + aloe jelly or lychee jelly, or aloe + lychee jelly. I think the aloe topping consists of real aloe pieces so that is why it has a different texture to the jellies. I do wish the aloe was a little less sweeter though.
Also, sometimes the wait can get a little bit long - it is worth it i think (and they are busy for a reason right?!), but can also be frustrating when paying for parking or when i have things to do. One time it took...
Read moreEvery time I buy at this place, the servers always rush me when ordering (I'm not new to buying bubble tea so I know how to order and I know how to order in a timely manner). I haven't finished saying my order yet but they already ask "anything else?" I understand they are trying to be efficient as they seem to be all-rounders but their customer service comes off as rude. This lady tonight was rushing me while I was ordering and then few minutes after, calls me back and asks me again for the customisation. If she had just listened attentively and had not rushed me, she could have got the order right the first time,
2 stars are for the tasty product selections. Not willing to give more because the ladies seem to be selective to who they are nice to. Caucasian lady ordered before me yet they seemed nice and lovely to her.
