Read moreWorst customer service. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes before they even made eye contact. They eventually took my order then went on to say that they only did take away so when the order was ready we had to come up to the counter to collect it and that they didn't take it to customers tables. So I ordered after about 5 minutes of waiting I chose to go sit abit closer to the front bench so I don't miss them calling my name. While I Sat back & waited I watched them walk certain orders to their table which confused me as to why, did they pay more I don't know? 15-20 minutes passed by and I thought there's a box that has been sitting there for abit. Soon as I noticed a guy that walked in after me getting his, I thought I'm going to ask if everything is okay with my order So i approached the bench Only to look down at the box and it was mines. They didn't even call out my name. Thanks for the long wait and the luke warm churros the somewhat warm hot chocolate and pretty average churros. After almost 30 minutes. Definitely won't be going there again and I wouldn't recommened it to...

We were greeted by a “sorry, we’re closed” despite their website displaying a 10pm closure, several customers still seated and eating their deserts and no sign to indicate they had now closed. I then proceeded to request if I could simply grab one of the take away items already made in the cabinet. The two staff members behind the counter, seeming annoyed that I had asked (one younger, one slightly older) both responded with “no, we’re closed”. Probably one of the more embarrassing moments of my life considering the amount of people still seated, overhearing our entire exchange. Disappointed in the customer service. We then walked about 500m to Max Brenners’ (who also closed at 10pm). We arrived there about 9:40pm, and they were still more then happy to serve us take away items. Super polite and made us feel “welcome”. If anything, the staff at San Churros (Surfers Paradise) could use a few of...
