Punches above it's price point. Sushi trains are a hit and miss affair, luckily Sush Track is for the most part a hit. The Good - A good selection of Nigiri on the track with an Ipad menu to order from if you cant find enough of your favourite item on the track. Both the Track items and the menu items are constantly being made so no single items seems to sit for very long. Well priced for what you get with plenty of soy and Wasabi available albeit in the tiny portion control packets you get for takeaway. Ginger is available one the Ipad menu and it's a huge bowl of the stuff.
The Bad - limited space so seating can be a bit pot luck if you are just popping in for a quick lunch.
The Ugly - don't even try and order from the menu 1 second (literally) after the kitchen last orders time, even if you are half way through making an order they cut the order system and you can have what you have ordered to that point but nothing more.
Generally we have enjoyed our visits to Sush Track, the team are pretty friendly and the sushi is pretty good for a sushi train, you get what you pay for and a little bit more at Sush Track.
Recommend for a quick bite at lunch time, or as a healthier takeaway for dinner when...
Read moreYesterday afternoon, we had really bad experience at Sushi Track while we had meal there. We ordered some food and a glass of tap beer, when we almost finished the beer we find out there was a half-grown fly was in the bottom of the glass, we felt extremely uncomfortable, after informed the waitress, she replaced the beer for us, but we were no longer in the mood to drink and eat anymore. So we left without finishing the meal, we requested a discount at the counter. The waitress said no problem but need to talk with her manager, however when she get back to us she refused to give any discount of the meal, they will only waive the payment of drink because food and drink are from different sections. Her manager not even show his face and say sorry to us just hiding in the kitchen all the time. The waitress also said that’s a fly from outside somewhere and drop into drink by accident. However, I have took a photo which apparently is a Non-developed/ not fully grown up fly which with its wings not fully formed, must be coming from tap beer keg. They have nice sushi but we are not happy with Sushi Track’s manager at all. That’s a really bad experience and worst customer solution I have ever seen in...
Read moreIt’s such an unpleasant experience. First, we found a piece of paper in the noodle soup. Second staff grabbed the plate of food we ordered via iPad off the train literally in front of us ( we sat in-front of them. ) The first time he tried was unsuccessful as I was watching him. The second time, I caught him as he thought I wasn’t watching him. After he realized i caught him , he passed the plate to me and said “ is it your ordered?” I have read previous reviews , it looks like it’s their long term issue , they haven’t changed at all. Third, it’s over priced compared to other sushi train store. We don’t mind paying the overpriced food but at least the food need to be fresh.
The good experience of today , after we showed them the paper from the noodle soup, they didn’t charge us the soup. And the front counter staff’s attitude was nice and said they will let the manager know. According to the previous review, it doesn’t look they have improved. I was wondering if their manger knows or if it was their manger asked them to do so.
Highly not recommended, there are lots good restaurants over there. The food is not...
