Be careful making a booking and dealing with this business. The cancellation policy is completely unreasonable. I made a booking on a Saturday afternoon for a tour the following Saturday. Unfortunately on Sunday my partner was hospitalized coming off an inbound international flight. She ended up being in hospital for 10 days. As a result, I immediately cancelled our whole trip and wine tour on that Sunday - the wine tour booking was made the prior day less than 24 hours earlier.

David refused to refund the total amount citing "Any cancellation regardless of circumstances is subject to a fee of some kind, which you have agreed to by accepting the terms and conditions."

We were charged $59.95 (25% of the booking value) which was both a) un-substantiated by out of pocket costs (what possible cost would the online booking had occured on a Saturday less than 24 hours earlier?) b) completely lacking any reasonable level of empathy

This was particularly unreasonable sine our online booking, made less then 24 hours before, cost the business nothing. They happily profited from our mis-fortune.

David did offer a credit note but we did not want to go on a tour with him or his company after his handling of this situation. I notice other reviewers had issues. I wished I had read the Google reviews before booking and thats the reason for providing this review for...

Absolutely terrible service, claimed it said there was no parking in Hobart CBD there was no mention on the booking confirmation/ticket. When I called I was met by a gentleman that offered no solution to our problem and very much not interested in assisting. My 50th Birthday was ruined because of this. You are supposed to be a tourist operator every other tour we took in Hobart followed up with either a phone call or email confirming the day before. Absolutely appalling treatment and now down $580...be where of...

I've been on Dave's tour several times over the years. It is my go-to day trip when visiting Hobart. This is an easy, fun and well-organised way to get out and see a few wineries around the Coal Valley and Richmond and get driven around by someone who knows what's going on. The familiarity Dave has with the wineries is obvious and the well-paced tasting and lunch arrangements all run super smoothly. I thoroughly recommend this...
