Our experience was very disappointing. We are not one to complain but this was just outrageous. If we could give it zero stars we would. I ordered the Farmers Breakfast and my partner ordered the Potato and Corn Hash. The Farmers Breakfast was $18 and came with two pieces of white sandwich bread, a hash brown that was drenched in oil, and two pieces of burnt tomato. I didn’t even try the bacon or mushrooms as it was so bad. My partner always eats the hash brown but she couldn’t even stomach it, I mean she ordered the Potato and Corn Hash. Her meal was bland, and the hash was soggy. The latte had no body and lacked flavour. To be honest, we could have spent our $38 at McDonalds and gotten a much better meal at the fraction of the price. We hope the owners will take this feedback and improve the quality of the food and their service. If you are nearby in Launceston, I recommend going to Inside CafĂ© instead as it’s...

Walked in with the family on Saturday morning, looking forward to pancakes. There were 3 staff behind the counter, 1 stared at us blankly, then went back to what they were doing. The other 2 seemed to be cleaning. We sat at a table, with no offer of a menu, so we got our own, at which point we got half a smile, but no words. No one else walked in, and we still got no attention. Are we supposed to order at the counter? All 3 staff looked at as at some point, they would have seen our baffled faces, but still no service. Eventually I went to the counter, and got told they'll be a minute as one of the girls started to make a sandwich. That was it, we walked out. Sandwich person gave us a blank look as we left. Where on earth was the service I read about in...

I was highly disappointed with the service I received today. I was carrying my child and purchased a few burgers and a coffee to go. After receiving my items, I was informed that the bag was sold separately, which is not an issue. However, I was then asked to pay in cash. What I don’t understand is why this wasn’t communicated to me when I placed my order. While the food was tasty, I regret to say I will not be returning due to this experience. My suggestion would be to hire some staff or train your staff to be polite and be more respectful ( which I wouldn't address now) and have...

We ate here last year as the breakfast was amazing, but today the 4th of Jan was awful. My partner had eggs on toast which were bland. I had the eggs Benedict which was one of the worst I have ever eaten. The hollandaise sauce was bland and tasted off, the eggs were bland and not cooked well, the toast was burnt. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE A TOASTER maybe don't own a cafe..the fact that you served burnt toast instead of remaking it is a sign of pure laziness and not giving a shit. I don't want to hear that it's busy and a family business, you deserve every part of this 1 star

Really great cafe with and excellent collection of sit down and takeaway meals and snacks. The coffee is fabulous - the best in Launceston that I have experienced. There is a vast extent of seating without the cafe loosing its cosy charm. A separate room next to the cafe provides lounge style seating for meetings. There arevmany tables in the large outdoor space away from the noise of the street in the alleyway. A bonus for cyclists is bike parking is provided as well as toilets for customers. All-in-all great place for a coffee or meal.

They have said 20 minutes wait and 50 minutes later our food hasn't arrived. So I went to talk to the waitress and found out they hadn't even made the food. It resulted in giving us a refund. Hey guys, you need to come up with a better system, and from observation, there was too much staff at the FOH. Two of you guys could've helped out in the kitchen. We would have understand it if you guys were too busy and lacking staff but you weren't that busy.
