Wouldnât recommend. We got the avocado smash, court rosti, coffees and a chai latte.
The avocado toast was missing the crumbled feta and the slices of toast differed in sizing. (one was full sized and the other was considerably smaller â less than half the size of the bigger piece).
We paid $21 for the court rosti and was disappointed in the serving size, as well as the quality. The bacon had burnt to a crisp sides, while the middle remained âun-crispyâ. The meal had us feeling a little âblehâ and not satisfied at the end.
The coffees were not creamy, but rather airy,- same as the chai latte. Definitely had better (or just decent) elsewhere.
The lady who took our order couldâve been friendlier, but she was polite. The guy who handed us our food was exceptionally lovely, smiled and gave us a cup-tray.
In summary, VERY below average food. Nothing âmeshedâ well together flavour-wise. I wouldnât give this...

The food? Absolutely chefâs kiss. Iâm not sure what magic potion they put in their dishes, but my taste buds were convinced theyâd hit the jackpot. The ambience? Think cozy chic meets âI could sit here all day pretending to work but actually eating cake.â
And the staff? Oh, theyâre so good they could teach a masterclass on hospitality. Attentive, friendly, and witty! One server even joked, âCareful with that dessertâitâs addictive!â They werenât lying.
If you havenât been here yet, do yourself a favor and fix that. Trust me, Cafe Court is not just a cafeâitâs an experience, and Iâm already planning my next visit (and bringing stretchy pants).

It would be truly wonderful if the culinary team could invest a bit more effort into refining the delicacy of their dishes, as enhancing the subtlety and finesse in the preparation would undoubtedly contribute to an elevated and more memorable overall dining experience, potentially positioning this spot as a standout destination in Melbourne's vibrant and diverse...
