Wouldn’t recommend. We got the avocado smash, court rosti, coffees and a chai latte.
The avocado toast was missing the crumbled feta and the slices of toast differed in sizing. (one was full sized and the other was considerably smaller – less than half the size of the bigger piece).
We paid $21 for the court rosti and was disappointed in the serving size, as well as the quality. The bacon had burnt to a crisp sides, while the middle remained ‘un-crispy’. The meal had us feeling a little ‘bleh’ and not satisfied at the end.
The coffees were not creamy, but rather airy,- same as the chai latte. Definitely had better (or just decent) elsewhere.
The lady who took our order could’ve been friendlier, but she was polite. The guy who handed us our food was exceptionally lovely, smiled and gave us a cup-tray.
In summary, VERY below average food. Nothing ‘meshed’ well together flavour-wise. I wouldn’t give this...

The food? Absolutely chef’s kiss. I’m not sure what magic potion they put in their dishes, but my taste buds were convinced they’d hit the jackpot. The ambience? Think cozy chic meets “I could sit here all day pretending to work but actually eating cake.”
And the staff? Oh, they’re so good they could teach a masterclass on hospitality. Attentive, friendly, and witty! One server even joked, “Careful with that dessert—it’s addictive!” They weren’t lying.
If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and fix that. Trust me, Cafe Court is not just a cafe—it’s an experience, and I’m already planning my next visit (and bringing stretchy pants).

The service was genuinely pleasant, and the portions were satisfying. However, the food itself fell short of the high expectations I've developed over time.
While the service and portions were commendable, the toast lacked the expected quality, and the sauce can be better. Additionally, some dishes felt a bit too oily, overshadowing the subtle flavors that make brunch special.
It would be truly wonderful if the culinary team could invest a bit more effort into refining the delicacy of their dishes, as enhancing the subtlety and finesse in the preparation would undoubtedly contribute to an elevated and more memorable overall dining experience, potentially positioning this spot as a standout destination in Melbourne's vibrant and diverse...
