Literally the WORST "ordering pizza" experience, EVER.
Desperate times call for desperate pizza.
Dominos Pizza comes in one size. Prices vary... Discounts are available only when you DON'T want or need them. Navigating the website is a labyrinth; specials pop-up, and disappear... again, varying the price. And just when you go to check out, your session expires, and you lose ALL the work you just put in to customising your order - including ghost vouchers that are there one second, gone the next. We don't know where they come from, nor how to find them again.
The pizza is not even that good - and never can be - and yet, they charge gourmet prices. I'd be expecting pizza topped with gold flakes...
The food actually tasted how dog-food smells.
In fact, my order was so gross, that I had to request a refund. Three times; in three different ways.
So HQ sent me an "InstaGift" - a complicated code with a PIN; a long string of numbers that has to be manually entered in.
So I wanted to use it up, so I can close this chapter of my life.
Right at the end, there, entering all those digits and codes, I get a pop-up saying: "We're having trouble processing your InstaGift. Please try again later".
At this point, you couldn't even PAY ME to order from Dominos. Literally, I have a $25 FREE pizza voucher, and I am going to PAY SOMEONE ELSE to...
Read moreThis was my experience. I paid extra for priority delivery. The order was marked as delivered around 10:30 when it wasn't. I called the store and they just told me to wait longer. I waited in the street for 15mins in case the driver was lost. Gave up and got food somewhere else. I was home again and eating food when the delivery finally arived after 11pm. The order was wrong - I ordered two of the same vegan pizzas and one was a meat pizza I couldn't even eat.
Any one of these points would have been disapointing on it's own, but to have all of them happen in one order AND to have paid extra for a so called 'priority' service is disgraceful. Their customer service was to tell me “that it had been delivered”, thanks.
EDIT: The Response from the owner below is a joke. All the text above (plus an image of the incorrect pizza) were copy pasted from their gdfeedback.co hub, where the owner only told me that "it had been delivered" and this followup message was completely ignored. That's why it is...

On two seperate occasions I have ordered from here, waited over an hour for my order, the delivery driver has said they arrived, called this place and the incredibly rude man says he’s ’checking On it’ and immediately hands up. Absolute horrible customer experience. The man who I spoke with on the phone is dismissive and doesn’t care. Fully convinced they let customers pay for food and keep it. Given there are several reviews here about this, can’t be a coincidence. Also, would like a refund and they refuse because it’s supposedly delivered???? I called 4 times to follow up - hung up on, then they say it’s delivered. Actually appalling. Close this place down or fire all the staff and start...
