SERVICE: 8/10 Exceptional service, I was greeted within seconds of walking to the counter the staff were kind and suggestively helpful in making my sandwich. I got a Chicken schnitzle and salad in a sandwich. I had white bread (double check with chick ) Cheddar Cheese, Tomato, Onion, Spinach, Cucumber, Red Capsicum and Honey mustard sauce with pepper. HOW WAS THE FOOD: 8/10 Tasted fantastic, the Chicken schnitzel seemed to be fresh and crisp the salads in the sandwich were a good accompanyment along with the Honey mustard sauce. PRICE: $13.90 Rating 9/10 Good value for money . I want to rate it 3.5 stars out of 5 but it won't let me.

Perhaps the best pork sandwich I had in Dandenong for a while. Place is quite busy and understaffed at times but if you're patient enough a minute or two you won't regret! Lovely and friendly staff. Also you could order your barista made coffee of your choice and tastes good. You can choose from a wide variety of dressings and add on's. Must visit place in Dandenong plaza food court.

The roast pork just melts in your mouth, skin is crackling good. I know it is not apple to apple comparison but it is much better than some of the Chinese roast pork I have…..the scalloped potatoes and roasted pumpkins are so so yummy, Really enjoyed my dinner here next I will try their roast beef 😋😋😋, the service is quick and friendly as I was in a hurry 👍

Well I just found out today that they don't celebrate Halloween and so I am a bit disappointed in them because of that despite me pointing out they would get more money if they sold Halloween themed stuff such as food for an example I even gave them a idea for what they could do for example they got apples at the store and so I thought they could make a apple on a stick thing with some candy coating in the appearance of a pumpkin face on the apple that is on the stick another another idea although i fid not mention this and that is shaping the meat so it looks like a pumpkin face cause of the shape of some meat at the store so they must have something against Halloween so I am not into going to this store anymore as it's like the Halloween version of the grinch very unfestive. No Halloween food unbelievable. And the Halloween version of the grinch is called Halloween Scrooge. And other then that the food for example the eggs have a chemical taste in them and the bacon I don't know it just is not that good compared to other places or your own place it really had a bad taste to it or something so yeah food at this place in general is not that good you can get better food for about the same price at like hungry jacks cheaper if you got the hungry jacks app you get coupons that you can use to get cheaper stuff from there store and every 5th hot chocolate or coffee you get from hungry jacks is for free always just buy coffee or hot chocolate when you use the coupon specifically. And unlike sandwich chefs it actually does sell Halloween themed food in the year 2023 it sold like a frozen sour apple with fairyfloss bursties to my knowledge and this year the year I write this which is in 2024 they sold cosmic storm and space shake for Halloween. And yeah other places like walkers doughnuts do have better food then sandwich chefs and do sell Halloween themed food and do also have some good deals like hungry jacks to my knowledge. So to summarise not only is this store unfestive but the food here is not worth its price before finding out this place is unfestive I avoided going here to eat the food here cause I don't like the food here it's of poor quality and the beverages here are not the best either I eventually just went to buy hot chocolate from the store just to be nice but yeah it's honestly a wast of money you can make just as good hot chocolate at home and if you need to have hot chocolate or coffee fast and you wall everywhere like I do I would say to buy a hot chocolate from a different place like hungry jacks or walkers doughnuts or muffin break etc any place is better then sandwich chefs for hot chocolate and coffee. And yeah if you got money beetle Cafe is a great place for bacon and eggs it's expensive but worth its price the last meal I had there was 17$ I really liked how there was no lemon in the tangy hollandaise sauce since I am on a no lemon diet and they suprisinging have the perfection with there food that is lemon free I say surprisingly cause I saw like a ton of recipes for it on the internet and they like all included lemon even the recipe of it on Wikipedia but yes it can be made without lemon I saw a lemon free recipe...

I went for a late lunch with my wife. We ordered roast pork. I have purchased here a few times, and the roast was absolutely lovely. However, that day the roast pork I ordered was uncooked. I took back to the counter and asked the girl who was serving, to give me another meal with roast beef instead of pork. She said “well before I serve you I need to ask my manager” without even taking my plate. She went inside and took a phone call to her manager while I was standing and holding the plate and the cutlery approximately 10 minutes. Then she came back and start serving a meal and she started blaming me saying “we been serving this roast from the morning, But no one complained. I don’t know why you making a drama. This is the way we cooked roast. May be you don’t know what is the roast looks like, etc” And I didn’t even ask for an explanation from her. She was very rude and she have no rights to talk to a customer like that. I am working in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years as a Head Chef. Therefore I know what is cooked and what is undercooked.

At the meantime there was a guy who was standing outside of the cash register and keep flirting with this girl and he’s been involved in this matter and been supporting this girl to blamed us. I told him not to involved in unnecessary things. Then I said I don’t need your meals, I need my money refund. She said “No I can’t, you need to have this meal” So this argument dragged for another 10 minutes. Then The Dandenong Plaza security team came and involved. The guy who was standing next to the register got disappeared. I Explain to the security team what has happened and I request them to check the CCTV. After all this drama I got my refund back. This was shocking and very disappointing. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. (This was Happened on the 14th of May 2023. I could not report this at that time because we went...

I have ordered a "too good to go" here for $10.00 bucks and I got 3 small containers. Even though I understand you can't choose the content and it's called a "surprise bag", I don't find this convincing for a "too good to go". The concept is for the shop owner to get rid of a BIG amount of "good food" for a few bucks, which is not the case here. This shop claims what they give out is worth $30.00 I'll tell you what I got and you can judge:

Box1 is just a salad (lettuce, onion, carrots) with some fragments of chicken schnitzel (good luck to find it) Box2 had some pork with more fat than meat Box3 a white sauce with potato slices (can't even tell what this is but nothing appealing and disgusting). Straight to the bin it goes.

I don't think the owners understood the concept of this app, and are still trying to make profit through too good to go. Because there is nothing quantitive nor qualitative in the bag.

The concept has been existing in Europe for a while now, where you get the most bang for your buck in terms of quality and quantity. But it seems like it's just not the case in Australia yet. The business owners...
