If you've ever had the misfortune of dining at this so-called "takeaway restaurant," you'll know exactly why I'm writing this review. The experience was nothing short of a complete disaster from start to finish, and I am compelled to share my experience with the world in hopes of sparing others from the same fate.
To begin with, the staff seemed to be utterly incompetent and uninterested in providing even the most basic level of customer service. They were slow, apathetic, and consistently got our orders wrong. It was as if they had never worked in the food industry before, or perhaps they just didn't care about their jobs. Either way, it was unacceptable.
When our food finally arrived, we were faced with a new set of problems. The dishes were mediocre at best, with limp, flavorless vegetables and overcooked, rubbery meats. The portions were also unacceptably small, which made the exorbitant prices even more difficult to swallow. We were left with an unpleasant taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively.
Furthermore, the restaurant's wheelchair accessibility was abysmal. The entrance was inaccessible due to a step, and the narrow interior made navigating with a wheelchair extremely difficult. It was clear that this restaurant had no intention of accommodating customers with disabilities, which is unacceptable in this day and age.
And let's not even get started on the hygiene practices, or lack thereof. The restaurant was unkempt and visibly dirty, with plates and utensils piling up on the tables around us. The staff seemed to care little about clearing and wiping down tables, leading to a cramped and unappetizing dining experience.
If you're looking for a convenient, reliable dining experience that meets even the most basic standards of quality, customer service, and accessibility, this so-called restaurant is not the place for you. Save yourself the headache, and seek out a different establishment that actually cares about its customers and the meals it serves. After all, life is too short to waste your time on subpar dining experiences...
Read moreAn Unforgettable Culinary Experience with Chef Manu!
If there's one word to describe Chef Manu's culinary prowess, it would be "exceptional." From the moment I stepped into his delightful eatery, I knew I was in for a treat. As soon as I sat down, the tantalizing aroma of his freshly baked crusty bread filled the air, instantly whetting my appetite.
Let me start by saying that Chef Manu's crusty bread is unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The golden-brown crust perfectly complements the soft, chewy interior, making it an absolute delight to savor with each bite. It's evident that he puts his heart and soul into crafting this culinary masterpiece.
Now, let's talk about eggs! It may seem like a simple dish, but Chef Manu's touch elevates it to a whole new level of eggcellence. His eggs are cooked to perfection - whether it's poached, scrambled, or simple style, they are always flawless. The way he balances flavors and textures is a testament to his culinary expertise.
But it's not just the food that sets Chef Manu apart; it's the experience he creates. From the moment he greets you with a warm smile, you feel welcomed and appreciated. His passion for cooking is contagious, and it's evident that he takes genuine pleasure in bringing joy to his diners through his delicious creations.
He put his foot in this meal. Perchance.
Thankyou Chef Manu, for trancending us to the astral plane of...

And we returned, as promised, to try their all-day meal menu.
Omg!! What food!! They serve as promised, the best of the best.
We had ordered a Jackfruit curry with Roti and Lamb Curry with Rice. Everything on the plate was fantastic.
The ambience can be a bit disappointing but that shouldn't stop you from trying something that's so good.
Unfortunately, they are not on any delivery apps and they don't do deliveries, that's a minus too.

Manu's Bistro on Fitzroy street is a one place for some amazing desserts for those with a sweet tooth.
Very few places in st Kilda do some good cakes and cookies and this is easily one of the few bests.
Not overpoweringly sweet, delish and with very natural flavors, it easily is our go to for special occasions...
They Poached Pear Muffin with other Berries and Coconut, Sticky Date Pudding (salivating at the mention of it), Gooey Chocolate Brownie and Floorless Orange Cake takes-up most our orders.
And guess what? They have always been consistent with quality and taste. ...Speaks a lot about Manu having worked under Michelin Star Chef.
Definitely going to try their meal option s based based on the flawless experience we have had.
Go for it St Kilda, we need to do a lot more for this small business which in our words is the most underappreciated...
