The reviewers were not wrong in saying that this place serves very good chicken burgers. It is a small restaurant but near and tidy. We were given a big table towards the end of the place. Initially, I thought it was a Korean fried chicken place, but it is not. It is more a Chinese fusion style food with a touch of Australian flavours. Confusing, right?! I felt that way when I was ordering, but as soon as the food arrived, we were busy devouring the food. Ordered the Korr Jee pack for two (1/2 chicken - chose peri peri sauce), garlic bread, a rocket salad, and kale crisps. The chicken was well cooked, the skin crispy and the meat moist. The kale crisps were delicious. Crispy chicken burger - I don't think I have tasted any burger that is so juicy, well constructed, and amazing. Every bite was heavenly! Chicken Parma - It looked like a normal parma, but don't let the looks fool you. Again, the chicken was not dry, and underneath the cheese, there were apricots that took the taste to another level. Coleslaw that was served with it complimented the dish very well. The juices here are also another highlight. Well balanced and tasty! Do not miss the cheesecake as well! I would definitely recommend all chicken lovers to try this...
Read moreI'm writing this while dining in... watching my food get cold. I ordered a chicken Parma which took 30min to arrive and waitress was apologetic which was fine I didn't mind the wait. ... upon getting the food I tried getting the attention of the waitress for condiments (salt and pepper).. it took 15min to get her attention to ask for them and meanwhile, the waitress kept attending to new customers. It was another 15min before i received a pepper shaker and a small serving of rock salt (what the?)
How on earth do I sprinkle salt on my Parma with rock salt? This time I physically got up to let them know I can't use this salt as its rock salt.... it's now been another 10min... they said they'll get me a salt shaker and nothing yet...new customers are getting attended to.
My food has gotten cold and I've now lost my appetite... I've managed to eat most of the fries but left most of the cold food on the plate...I paid and left very upset at my treatment.
Picture is how much cold food I left before leaving...
Read moreWe’d just come from another bar that had really let us down, so we weren’t expecting much when we stumbled across this place — but wow, were we wrong.
We popped in for happy hour drinks, and they were absolutely spot on. The owner made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had — and I’ve had a lot, all over Australia! She took orders, mixed cocktails, and served with a smile, effortlessly balancing warmth and professionalism.
Despite a disappointing meal earlier in the evening, a few of us decided to try the food here — and we were blown away. The half chicken was juicy, flavourful, and generously portioned. The chips and kale chips were the perfect match. The chef even came out to serve some of our dishes personally, which was such a thoughtful touch.
It’s clear this is a family-run spot with heart. The passion they have for food and hospitality really shines through. Don’t miss this place — it’s got a great vibe, incredible food, and some of the best service we’ve had anywhere....
