Just took a takeaway 45mins from Indian Tandoori and I must say I did not delay even a minute since I opened & tasted the food to leave this feedback...! The food is absolutely a disgrace to what we call Indian... the chilli chicken (indo Chinese) is absolutely disgusting and tastes extremely yucky.. the chicken & prawn mixed fried rice which was supposedly Indo Chinese had 1 shrimp (cut in half) and a few pieces of shredded tandoori chicken in it...from when did we start using tandoori chicken leftovers in fried rice ??? OMG this is the most tasteless, unauthentic, and disgusting Indian food I've ever had !! I hate to say this but don't be fooled but this is a far cry from authenticity...my first time here but I wish I never made that take away phone call ever !! Extremely disappointed & a waste of every single $ I spent there ! If I was the restaurant owner I would have sacked the chef straightaway. If they don't know to make the dish why then list it in the menu? Perfect way to ruin a great holiday. Would not recommend even my enemies...
Read moreI recently visited the Indian Tandoori restaurant in Albury, NSW, and had a generally positive experience. Here are some highlights:
Clean Toilets: The toilets were spotless and well-maintained, which is always a plus!
Excellent Tandoori Chicken:🍗 The Tandoori Chicken was absolutely delicious, with perfect flavors and tender meat.
Good Nan: The Nan bread was fresh and flavorful, complementing our meals nicely.
Good Customer Service👍: The staff were friendly and attentive, providing good service throughout our visit.
However, there were a few drawbacks:
Parking Challenges🚘: Finding parking was a bit tricky, which might be inconvenient for some visitors.
Prices:💰 The prices were a bit on the higher side, which might not be suitable for budget-conscious diners.
Prawn Biryani:🍤 While the Prawn Biryani was okay, it didn't quite live up to our expectations.
Overall, If you're a fan of Indian cuisine and don't mind paying a bit more, this restaurant is worth trying. Just be prepared for potential...

We stopped for lunch at this wonderful restaurant en route from Mt. Kosciuszko National park to Melbourne We had lamb cutlets that were served in a sizzler plate with fries, greens and a chutney . The cutlets were absolutely succulent and had that smoked spice flavour . ( Chefs secret - they are marinated overnight youghurt and freshly ground spices and cooked in a genuine clay tandoor over charcoal ! ) The mushroom dahi masala was finger- lickingly delicious with mushrooms and peas in a creamy but not heavy curry . The daal makhani was a regular dish cooked to perfection. Came to know that it is steeped in spices and slow cooked for hours to get that amazing flavour and texture. They have a full bar with wide selection of beers wines spirits and cocktails . With friendly staff and courteous service there a genuine warmth to this place that would make you come back again ..which I’m sure...
