I travel a fair amount for work, would have stayed at least 80 motels within 9 years. This is the only motel that has spoken to me like family. Sure, its a little outdated, However its Clean. Very clean. the linen even has a fragrance of fabric softener.
Lets get to whats important:
Bed perfect - Actually didn't even notice is was in a motel. Noise... NONE. besides being near a main road and a train.... I didn't hear a thing. not even the neighbours Hot water and pressure - Fine Large LCD TV that Played from a USB stick. WiFi was good. Parking was outside my room. Small selection of snacks from the office. (No mini bar) lets face it.. who the hell uses them?
walking distance to a supermarket and several pubs.
Peter and Tiffany even gave me a courtesy call after 6pm as I was late for arrival (working back) just making sure I knew how to get there.
There was one thing i really liked, in the fridge I was provided with a tray with a basic breakfast, 2 slices of bread, Fresh Milk (not UHT), a box of cereal, butter and i think Jam, Peter said: A lot of people come and go... they wake up and don't have time for a sit down breakfast. - Nice touch
Will stay...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were on a road trip and passing by Albury, so we booked and paid online few hours before we come. During the booking we already inform that we will check in late, which might pass the operating hour.
When we reached the motel almost midnight, its already closed and we check email they only ask for Phone number confirmation without check in instruction. We replied the email but no respond. So we leave the place.
In the next morning, we came to explain the situation and ask for refund since we didnt able to check in. The manager refuse to refund and said its our fault instead for not replying their first email and came very late. Ok we admit that, but instead of asking phone number they should have email us the check in instruction by the time we booked and paid. So we paid for nothing, what a bad service...
