We came here last night for dinner and really wish we hadn't. Probably should have said something at the restaurant but just didn't feel comfortable enough to say anything. For entree we had the "stuffed jalapeno" which on the menu were advertised as crumbed and fried jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese, in reality what we got where small square croquette looking things that were just cheese with a couple of tiny pieces of jalapeno in them meaning they had zero heat to them at all. We also had the Chile fries which were our favourite dish of the night even though despite the name and promise of some sort of heat in them they were so mild you would think there wasn't a chilli in sight whilst they were made. For mains we had enchilada nuevo Mexico, which lacked flavour, seasoning, and any type of heat. You would think that you would be given an option of the heat level you could have but there wasn't one so you go in assuming it must at least be mild - medium heat but it isn't even that, once again it was like the kitchen had run out of chilli. Then the beef on the dish all tasted the same no matter what it was in. We also had the la combinacion, which again was lacking all the same things as the other dish whilst at the same time tasting exactly the same as the other dish. It is obvious they just use the same pulled beef for all the beef dishes meaning no matter what you order there is no real nuances. Next thing is be warned that the prices you see on the online menu in no way reflect the prices they charge in restaurant it is much more expensive. For the two of us the meal came to $141 and we couldn't have been more disappointed. We did end up eating everything but that was because we were so excited to be going that we skipped lunch to ensure we had room for a big meal and as such were starving. But really wish we hadn't because despite there being no heat we both ended up having the worst reflux all night and we are both big chilli eaters without ever having issues. Would not go back again, have had better food at Mad Mex where at least you get options regarding your choice of heat.
Edit after "response". So no answer on why what you advertise on your menu as being "stuffed jalapenos" turned out not to be at all? Instead of waiting until after people have ordered, eaten, and left before telling them "things can be spiced up" it might be a good idea to put something on your menu stating that all menu items contain zero spice and if you would like spice to let you know. Also, adding spice wasn't going to help the fact that you have one pot of beef sitting on the stove that you use for every dish. True Mexican food has nuances between dishes and what spices and flavours come through depending on the dish not just slopping on the same thing and hoping no one notices that it all tastes the same. Sure nothing will change even though reading through the reviews this isn't the first time people have complained about the...
Read moreI had been going to Taco Bill since I was a child. It was always a great place to eat and have a good time. Dan looked after you when you came in and made you feel like friends or family.
I am now 33 and have gone back to Taco Bill tonight. I ate alone which seemed a bit weird and threw some wait staff off but they still looked after me well. I had a coke, a small Nacho with chicken and without Jalapeños. While I waited for my food the waiter Timmy brought me my coke, some corn chips and some Salsa while you waited for your food. Lovely idea. Then my food came and it was amazing. The genuine taste and authenticity of the dish were fantastic. The crispy chicken was folded over the crunchy corn chips with a base of cheese topped with cold Salsa, sour cream and guacamole.
It tastes the same as when I was younger. I had a few wait staff come up during my meal to see if I was ok and that everything tasted ok which I said tasted fantastic.
Overall Taco Bill is a great place to eat with an excellent atmosphere inside a genuine Mexican restaurant.
Well done guys. I will be coming...

From the moment we walked into a busy and crowded restaurant on new year's eve with a pram harnessing an infant, a 3 year old and a hangry wife in company - things took an unexpected turn...
Initially thinking we were gunna fit into the too hard basket (no judgement, especially if you seen the pram along with a toddler ready to bring the house down) however, it may have been been the look of desperation in my wife's eyes but I'm sure it was the absolute determination to strive for excellence that was what encouraged the fine team to make a few arrangements to have us there.
Throughout our (short because of my two young spawn) experience however very memorable as we were spoilt with outstanding service and constant reminders that we struck gold.
Honestly, I would dine here often even if they only served overpriced dirt purely on service but I'm definitely happy we enjoyed top Mexican food at an...
