Soden's Hotel — Restaurant in New South Wales

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sodens Hotel and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The venue caters to all types of guests. From couples to families or individuals just looking for the perfect place for a memorable experience.

One of the highlights of my visit was the live music performances. The tribute bands that played at Sodens Hotel were absolutely incredible. They captured the essence of the original artists and had the crowd dancing and singing along all night. The energy and talent of the musicians were truly impressive.

The service at Sodens Hotel was also top-notch. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a great time. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. Whether it was helping with recommendations or attending to any requests, the staff were always efficient.

Had lunch recently here. Their lunch was 1/10 of capacity. It was not busy. Incredibly slow service, even just for soft drinks despite multiple staff. They missed a main meal so one person had to wait until most of us has finished our lunch before they started. There was no background music or atmosphere. I asked when I ordered my drink but nothing was done. We had to clear 3/4 of our own plates after a few being taken and nobody coming back for the rest. Understandable if they were busy, but they were not. Band for the night were setting up directly through lunch service, which was disruptive in particular when they were testing their lights. Sorry to the owner but can't rate this experience over 2 stars. We ordered over $125 worth of meals and drinks for our family of 5.

To start $12 per kids meal and no drink or kids dessert offered, when many pubs in Albury already do this and they do it well. By the time you get a drink and ice-cream, you're paying more than $20 per child.

To change kids chips to mash potatoes cost an EXTRA $3... Why, when you can order either chips or mash with the adults meals???

Kids Nuggets and chips, which came with 4 nuggets! (again $12, seriously)

For a $35 steak, veg and chips. You'd expect some level of quality for the meal, sadly over Cooked veg, steak was bland & unseasoned.
