Beechworth Bakery Albury — Restaurant in New South Wales

I recently visited Beechworth Bakery in Albury and had an excellent experience. We ordered a couple of Bavarian creams, a beesting, and a few coffees. The pastries were delicious, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness.

What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff are always so friendly, smiling, and efficient, ensuring we had everything we needed with quick service. I’ve been to a few Beechworth Bakery locations (Healesville and Ballarat) and every time, the experience has been great.

Today my wife bought a pie and an eclair, when she went to pay, she was slugged a 10% surcharge (it was Sunday). Whilst we don’t begrudge a surcharge, there was no notification beforehand that she was going to be charged this additional cost, only found out when she was going to pay (it came up on the till) and the items were already bagged and in front of her and also she was doing takeaway. A sign to let people know that they are going to get hit with a surcharge seems appropriate and then that allows people to decide whether or not to buy anything in the...

I'm not the one to post a bad review of a business but this mornings service was terrible.

I ordered and toasted wrap but when I received it the wrap was cold and had a long hair in it too, this is absolutely disgusting!

Not to mention waiting 10mins for my food and also the cost of a poorly made and prepped breakfast.

I won't be spending my money at Beechworth bakery any more, the quality and service of a once thriving small bakery...
