My Baker — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Went there to grab a good morning feed and a coffee, whilst i was deciding on what food i wanted, the lady with the green hair was very rude and passive aggressive, ushering me to make my mind up, upon telling her ive never been there before and that i was just looking through the options, she rolled her eyes and walked from behind the counter to go outside and start talking to other patrons who were eating there food, leaving me to stand there. Confused i asked her if she could serve me now and she said "finally made your mind up hey" then laughed. Having social anxiety this made me feel really uncomfortable and i ended up leaving. Even when i was leaving she walked to the end of the cafe just to yell "You're welcome!" in a very condescending way. Putrid customer service, ive already told all my work colleagues not to go there and one of them told me they had a pie from there and it ended up with him bed ridden, sweating and vomiting. My first time here, very busy lunch time rush although there wasn't a que when I ordered, a que developed while waiting for my order which took 10-15 mins. It appears to be quite a popular cafe getting plenty of foot traffic in The Mall & workers calling in for their lunch. I ordered a double egg & bacon roll for $8 which I thought was a good deal but found the roll & bacon to be dry. Maybe a different kind of roll would improve it. Not sure why the bacon seemed a bit dry too though. Despite this, I'd still go back & try something else. They have a good selection of pies & cakes & do lots of different sandwhiches too. Worse customer service I have ever experienced! I went in there and two girls were behind the counter, they greeted me and asked how they could help, in the middle of me ordering one of them turned around (I thought to grab my order) but then kept turning around and started serving the guy who had walked in behind me - no problem I thought the other lady must be serving me but then she started packing the order of what the guy was ordering! The first girl looked at me and then spoke to the second girl, good I thought she's telling her to continue to serve me, but NO she was telling her what bags to put the guys order in.
