This past Sunday 21/8/22 they served me tea that was too hot to drink. It fell out of my hands when I walked down the stairs holding food in one hand and tea in the other. The stairs are too steep. It was my second time there and the first and last time I’ll ever order tea from there. When I lost my balance the tea was so hot it took off two layers of skin and burnt my toes through the shoe and socks like a normal beverage that’s is served at the right temperature would on your hand. I had to got to the lifeguard and shower in cold water. Then the emergency and then see a burn specialist who confirmed today the water was served too hot. Because my toes that had no direct contact at the naked skin level and had to go through my shoe and sock burnt me the way your skin should burn when tea served at the right temperature would burn your hand. Thankfully two nurses where close by to advise me what to do. They really shouldn’t have steep stairs with hot beverages and should make sure beverages like hot tea are served at a certain standard safety temperature and not filled to the tippy top of the lid. I wish that day I had chosen a latte like I did the last time. Other than that the view is great. The people and the...

Ordered a bacon, tomato, lettuce, and avocado on Turkish bread. Took a bite and the bacon was stone cold. I took the sandwich back to the counter and asked for the bacon to be grilled as per the menu. The cook went to put my sandwich in the microwave. I explained to him it's the bacon that needs to be cooked and that you can't just take bacon out of the pack and slap it on a sandwich. After a very long time my sandwich was finally made as it should have been the first time. Not really happy.. wish I ate at the restaurant next door instead. Also coffee was...

Besides coffees what makes a cafe a great cafe is the ambience, friendly staff and the glorious location. Definitely cannot beat barefoot for all of these in the local area! Coffees are great, staff are n point and the view is a billionaire's dream. We love our weekly visits to Barefoot as our pit stop caffeine fix before riding back to the East. Barefoot has been our ritual stop for more then 15 years for our Frinulla rides. Thanks for always being so...

If you want an acai bowl, Barefoot on the Beach's offering is tasty, but small. For $12 I would not say there is value for money and would go elsewhere to nearby cafes for acai bowls just as tasty and larger. However it is a cafe located next to the beach thus very convenient.
