Came here simply because ThePass app gave me a credit that was too good to let it go to waste. đ
My husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday.
We ordered the following to share: ⢠Mozzarella Sticks ⢠Cheeseburger Spring Rolls ⢠Crispy Chicken Wings ⢠Prawn Tacos ⢠Meatball Sub
The entree items (the first 4 on the list) were all very delicious and more-ish! Mozzarella Sticks had a nice batter and the typical gooey centre. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls tasted just like a cheeseburger but in spring roll form although I must say, my husbandâs version is MUCH better! đ The Crispy Chicken Wings had the most satisfying Asian-style flavours. I recall saying it would be paired so wonderfully with some steamed rice! đ¤¤đ The Prawn Tacos were very generous for what it was. It felt like a mini meal for 1 if you werenât feeling particularly hungry or didnât want to eat much. This was so good too!
We halved the Meatball Sub. It came with these rustic fries and who doesnât love fries?! đ The meatball itself was quite dry and not my favourite thing on the menu for this meal. I couldnât finish my share of the sub so I gave it to my husband to eat.
The service was extremely attentive and helpful. The gentleman who served us a jug of water and some pretzels after we sat down at the padded booth seat inside the establishment was topnotch. The pretzels were a really unexpected and nice touch. đđĽ°
The venue played 90s hits and it felt very nostalgic to us. We really enjoyed it!
The venue took over the old La Cita nightclub that I used to frequent when I was in my 20s. The...
Read moreYesterday we went down to darling Harbour and happened to be while looking for nice relaxing place, we chose to go with Henleys & it was during their happy hour. As we are on holiday from New Zealand, it was our first time there so we went up to the reception to order. The female staff named Rebecca (which not sure if it is correct or not - as upon asking another male staff he gave). She took our order and also advised that we need to get a table first and place our order via QR code. Fair enough as we didn't know since it was our first time & everywhere is different. After placing our order - BBQ chicken pizza with her & gave our table number - 107 we went to sit down. It was not fully busy, few of the tables around us had customers. After a while Rebecca came with a order, passed by us, looking around for someone else then we asked is it BBQ chicken pizza? She replied saying "oh, iam looking for someone else but never mind you can have this"! & just handed me the plate and worked off.
We really felt bad the way she said it & just working off rather than saying what it is and etc. I know we only paid $25 but hey we are not beggers, sitting there asking for food.
We had to assume what we are eating and to avoid creating any scene I just asked for her name from another male staff who came near our table to serve food to another customer. He advised she is training and he is not sure of her name đ¤đ
We were not happy with the service given to us. Pizza was great so thank you for it. We feel being treated...
Read moreWe visited your establishment for the first time, and most likely, the last. At the entrance, the security guard told us there was a free table, so we took it and placed our order. However, a waitress soon approached us with an unhappy expression, took away the glasses from our table, and hinted that this was a "private service" and we shouldnât be there.
When I pointed out that the security guard had let us in and that we had already ordered, her response was just as unwelcoming: "Well, this is a private service." I then asked if that meant we had to leave, but the reply was vague and unclear.
On a positive note, the food was delicious and prepared quicklyâwe have no complaints about that. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Thank you for ruining our moodâespecially on March 8thâand for making us feel like unwelcome outsiders in your establishment
Extra Feedback:
Thank you for your response. However, what efforts are you referring to? We didnât see any real attempt to relocate us. Do you think it was comfortable for us to sit at a bar table with our food?
We waited for the queue to clear and were seated at that specific available table because others were reserved. So, whose responsibility was that?
Your response sounds like you are trying to shift the responsibility onto us, as if we deliberately insisted on sitting there. Don't you think thatâs a bit...
