There are some delightfully creative donut flavours and it'll take time to taste them all. The bottom line is the donut itself is fantastic. Fluffy but not too airy. It's fluffy AND dense which sounds paradoxical but, they honestly are bouncy while somehow substantial at the same time. Generous portions and good fun trying out new bizarre flavours. So far the Pandan Coconut donut is dominated by the toasted dessicated coconut so if you like coconut, this is a good one. The Thai Milk Tea donut is so subtle with its flavour and mostly tastes like an excellent glazed donut so you can't really go wrong here. Ube donut has a much dryer, crispier and powdered icing. Very subtle flavour as you'd expect from a 'ube' or purple sweet potato. Matcha citrus had the boldest flavour so far. Undertones of green tea and a mild acidity from the ambiguous citrus description. Similar icing texture to a regular glazed donut. Peach and mango fritter. A much denser donut. Regular glazed icing on top with actual chunks of peaches throughout!

Good donuts and flat white. City prices though most donuts were $6 or more.

The best doughnuts in Sydney, handmade in store and so consistent in quality, best flavour and texture. I freaking love the strawberry milkshake (because I'm basic) flavour the best, these are the best doughnuts I've ever had time and time again. I really cannot understand why there are so many negative people complaining about the cost of these doughnuts. Were you held hostage when you saw the price, bought the doughnut, ate it and then had the audacity to write a negative review like you were shocked the price suddenly existed for the first time? DP are extremely transparent about their prices and in a rising economy, for any cheaper they won't be able to pay their staff or pay their rent. Workers deserve to be paid well for the hard work they put into making these awesome pastries.

This is an Edit to my original post due to the fact the owners can not handle Negative or criticism reviews..!!

First of all your reply is more racist and on the attach then any productive criticism I have mentioned..! Second "Quoting" other business on sales price any quality helps a business with competitive feedback..!!

And last your business was advertised as LA and American style Donuts all over platrlfotms such as Facebook!...

You guys need to learn business ethics and customer feedback in order to stay alive and survive! When I mention "gimmick" one must take a look at their current business when customers give feedback, I have been in the food industry for over 30 years and a response such as your comes out Arrogant and naive..!! Even "Guzman y Gomez" in Marrickville when they received negative reviews from customers appreciated the feedback and worked on their customer service and business....

Also on a list point Donuts are Amerincan product Not Asian! So there is nothing racist towards your business! It is af a Lebanese or or Italian has a "Sushi" food store and claiming Sushi is italian.....!

Ohh! And also if you have no idea what "Krispy Kremes" is and you have a Donuts store you are definitely in the wrong business....

Good luck surviving, you Definitely lost a customer from me and everyone I know with you reply, definitely never coming back..

Original Post -

Wanted to try this place as it had been mentioned and was advertised as LA style Donuts,, What a big mistake..!! Taste nothing like Donuts from the USA and they specialize in Asian flavors as the seem to be an Asian Gimmick, and their Donuts are too much Doughty and overpowering with the flavor of Butter..!! What's LA about that..!! I got a few flavors to try, what a RIP OFF..!! Donuts from $6 to $8 each..??? I can just go and get 3 Donuts from "Krispy Creams" $10 for 3 Donuts at that price.!! Not only is their Donuts not authentic and price too expensive but the taste of their Donuts are not what...

Oh my god. Just delicious. No other words. Best I’ve ever had. So soft and beautifully crafted.

It’s 2023 can people stop complaining about prices specifically small business prices? If you want an amazing product like this to survive they need to be charging the prices they charge if not more. Not only inflation of costs of goods, wages, super and all over heads have increased. Have none of you learnt the basics of business ? They aren’t operating to fail. I think your pricing is very fair and your product is worthy of the price.

What they do here is amazing. Beautiful soft fluffy doughnuts, so many flavours to choose from like over 30!

One feedback I have is they should have flavours in the window so people know what they want before entering making the line run smoothly and staff not being frustrated that people are deciding what they want while people in the line are anxiously waiting to also be served. Also if doughnuts where in a box so when taking back home the paper bag gets oily and poor doughnuts get squished.

very creative concept...
