Lüneburger German Bakery — Restaurant in Sydney

I went to the George street one. Difficult to find small spot. Couldnt locate the place as was running out of time . First nobody picked up the call. Second, even I arrived huffing and puffing (asking some 2-3 people on the shopping centre for the location) , I was met with a half empty shop with a zombie expression girl at the counter. She couldn’t give a damp squib on how someone was eager to try the place and to at least greet with politeness. What a letdown! . Seems your staff need some101 on howto greet in shop. She want helpful at all when I said that nobody was picking up the phone shrug “I dono bout website”. (Everything shrug). Asked whatever was left over. (Placed wrong order). Extremely disappointed! At least get some better staff-in your shop who are more concerned about running away home 30 mins back then...

I’ve been a regular customer of this store for a long time and usually have a good experience. However, when I visited around 3:30 p.m. today, the staff’s attitude was quite disappointing.

I politely asked about the item I usually order (which I couldn’t find today), but the staff responded with a very dismissive attitude, as if saying “Can’t you see for yourself?” When I asked what was inside another item that wasn’t labeled, she impatiently replied, “Cheese?”

I decided to buy something else instead, but when another staff member handed me the item, she didn’t even look at me and kept chatting with the other staff member (the one with the poor attitude and glasses).

Even so, I still smiled and said thank you. I really hope the store can improve staff training and...

So so ... I bought a croissant ham and cheese. It was good .. it is but the server or the person who attended me i bet was having a rough early morning.. Look, we all are struggling to wake up in the morning but pls... She asked me if i wanted my croissant to be toasted or fresh.. I barely heard her for it was a busy morning and i was on my earphones but all i heard was "fresh?" so, i said "fresh" .. later on i realised she was actually asking if toasted or fresh? ... and i told her "sorry, did you just asked me toasted or fresh?" and she responded to me with a sas "that's what i asked you earlier" .. This bakery was really good but if an attendant with an attitude? this business will not have a good reputation.. Hopefully this would be...
