Mad Toppings Parramatta — Restaurant in Sydney

We have been loyal customers of Mad Toppings Parramatta, but unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly over the past few weeks.

A few weeks ago, we received an undercooked pizza with undercooked chicken—not just once, but twice. Both times, these were pickup orders. After that experience, we decided to switch to their vegetarian pizzas, with the Veg Manchurian Pizza becoming our go-to order.

Last week, the Veg Manchurian Pizza was fine, but this time, we ordered through DoorDash due to the rain and had an awful experience. The pizza was overloaded with sweet chili sauce, making it taste nothing like the usual Manchurian Pizza. It felt like we were eating a sweet chili pizza instead.

When we reached out to DoorDash for help, they refused to assist and told us to contact the restaurant directly. Upon speaking with the restaurant, we were given multiple conflicting reasons—first, they claimed they changed the recipe two months ago (which doesn’t add up since we had a good one last week), and then they said customers requested extra sauce, so they started adding more.

If that’s the case, why wasn’t this update communicated anywhere—on their website, menu, or social media? The customer service was extremely disappointing. Instead of addressing our concern, they kept changing their reasoning, which felt dishonest.

The Veg Manchurian Pizza was inedible, tasting like a sweet chili pizza rather than the pizza we had enjoyed before. After multiple bad experiences—this being the third time—we’ve decided not to return.

I really really wanted to give this place a good rating but I Have to be honest.

I have tried them on two occasions now. The first night I just thought they might have had a bad night and it would be unfair to judge a place on one visit alone. The pizza was average. Ordered a supreme. It’s obvious the ingredients are of low quality. Everything kind of tasted like it came out of a can.

The staff got the job ‘done’ but I feel like their attitude was somewhat cold and it didn’t feel like they were interested in being there.

Which is a shame because it is a complete contrast to the older man that is there. I suspect he is the owner. He is really professional and attentive and generally really nice.

I returned back for a second try purely based on his willingness to serve customers and do his best.

Sadly on the second visit I ordered a garlic and cheese pizza. I’m unsure how but one slice was contaminated with a curry smell/ sauce. It really turned me off completely.

I am hoping that my constructive feedback can be used to improve the offering of this store. It has the potential to be great but they really need to review their ingredients and staff training because it is sadly not even up to dominos level. And that’s...

If you're looking for a pizza place in Parramatta, look no further than Mad Toppings! I recently had the pleasure of trying out their pizza, and I have to say, it was really good.

One of my favorite things about Mad Toppings is their unique pizza toppings. I particularly enjoyed their butter chicken and chili paneer pizzas. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of chicken and a creamy tomato sauce that perfectly complemented the crispy crust. The chili paneer pizza was a little spicier, but still had plenty of flavor and a great texture thanks to the chunks of paneer cheese.

While I enjoyed the food itself, I did run into one issue with Mad Toppings: their app doesn't work in the App Store. This was a bit of a disappointment, as I had hoped to order online for delivery. However, I was still able to place my order on their website and get it delivered, so it wasn't a huge deal.

Overall, I highly recommend Mad Toppings for anyone looking for delicious and unique pizza in Parramatta. The butter chicken and chili paneer pizzas are a must-try, and while the app may not work for everyone, it's still worth checking...
