Homely korean restaurant that’s run by a korean family. They don’t speak much English but they’re the friendliest and kindest. The staffs may seem rude and pushy but that’s because they’re busy and probably got carried away with the amount of orders/ customers they have so just be patient with them. Store may seem quiet and a tad run down but that’s all part of the authentic experience. They’re usually fully booked out and don’t accept walk-ins on weekends, although they’re pretty quiet in the afternoons. We ordered seafood pancake ($20), combination seafood hot plate ($24), marinated beef stew ($18) and makgeolli ($12). Best pancake I’ve had, side dishes were alright kimchi was one dimensional and too sour, while the other banchans were too sweet. Beef stew was average, served with a bowl of rice and glass noodles in the soup. Combination seafood had more onions and sauces than anything else, not worth it in my opinion, unless it’s renamed as vegetable hot plate, then it’s not too bad as the flavour itself is good. The staff was also stopping me from ordering more as I kept going on with the orders and he advised that would be enough, it’d be too much if I had a dish more, which I find was so considerate of him. Food comes quickly despite them being busy. Tissues, water, toilets available, with outdoor and indoor seating. Limited paid street parking. Overall a wonderful experience mainly because of their great service, will be back!

I wish I could give this 2.5 stars, but Google maps does not allow it. This was average. However, the restaurant did seem to be quite full while we were there so perhaps we just didn't order the right thing? We had the bibimbab and the dumplings. The steamed dumplings were very good, but the bibimbab was a bit lacking in substance. I had the prawn and I thought I would get a couple of large prawns but instead I got a bunch of fried rice size micro prawns mixed with a sticky sweet sauce. The egg was cooked well and the side sides were ok. The kimchi was good and spicy, the tofu was nice too, but the capsicum was a bit odd. The Cass beer is light and sweet. Pretty good. The decor and the setting is a bit lack luster. Very utilitarian. I feel that it's a bit basic. Overall it is ok, but not great.

I've lived nearby for quite some time but never had the chance to try this place until one evening when it was conveniently on my way to Kenzo. I decided to take a chance and have dinner there with my partner. Let me tell you, it was a delightful surprise, and we left with our bellies happily full. The food here has that authentic, home-cooked Korean flair. Not only was the taste spot-on, but the portions were incredibly generous! We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki, Spicy Pork on an iron plate, Beef Stew, and the Fried Tofu appetizer. I can wholeheartedly recommend everything except the tofu appetizer. In short, a highly recommended spot for some truly satisfying Korean-style dishes!

I visited this restaurant with a friend due to the positive reviews, so had high expectations for this restaurant. Once I placed an order for cold noodles, spicy cold noodles and large seafood pancake it took them around 5mins which I was still good with. The lady brought the spicy cold noodles and seafood pancake, but not the normal cold noodles so I waited for another 5mins. I called the lady over that I have not recieved my order yet and she pretty sounded like she was blaming me that I had another order and that it was my fault. At this point I thought she would apologise for the missing order but still hasn't... It took another 10mins for me to get my cold noodles due to other orders she had. By the time I finished to pay she said sorry but as if someone was forcing her to.

RECAP: THE FOOD MAY BE GOOD, BUT THE SERVICE IS A...
