❗️If you’re considering eating at this Thai restaurant, please read this review first.❗️

My experience here was very disappointing, and it all came down to one staff member: the man working at the front wearing a green sweater (see photo). Because of him, what could’ve been a lovely dinner turned into one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had.

It started off fine — we got seated and our food began arriving. But mid-meal, while we were still eating, this man came up and abruptly told my brother to move seats. Not politely — he just kept saying, “Move, move,” with no explanation. He wasn’t struggling with English either — he spoke fluently right afterward. Turns out he wanted to use my brother’s chair for another table… which ended up not even being used.

To make it worse, the new group he was trying to seat didn’t even have all their members yet — they were still waiting for others. So why were we, already eating, the ones being told to move?

On top of that, our table was right by the wall, and there was no seat cushion left for me. They didn’t offer anything to help — I had to sit on bare hard wood for the entire meal.

Then when we went to pay, the same man was at the cashier — and once again, unhelpful. As tourists, we aren’t familiar with all the Australian coins, and we tried to pay with both cash and coins. He accepted the bills but refused to take the coins, without giving any reason. I don’t understand why — money is money, and coins are legal tender. The way he dismissed us was unnecessary and rude.

To top it all off, the music playing from the speakers was so loud, we could barely hear each other talk. It made the atmosphere stressful, not enjoyable.

It’s honestly such a shame. The food was good, but the service — especially from this one man — completely ruined the experience. I looked up reviews afterward, and it turns out many people have said the same thing about him. So this isn’t an isolated case.

To the owner: I truly hope you read this. You might not realize it, but this man is driving customers away. He’s not only unprofessional — he’s disrespectful. You deserve better staff who don’t turn a good restaurant into a regrettable memory for guests.

With so many Thai restaurants in the area, I strongly recommend choosing...

Have heard about this new restaurant via friends and thought we should try . Came here for Sunday lunch last. The decoration made the place looks kind of dark, there was only 2-3 tables at the time when we arrived. We ordered 4 dishes between the 2 adults and 1 kid. We ordered Pad Ka Pao mince pork with preserved egg topped on rice , standard spice level had enough spice but for those with a higher spice tolerance, you may have to ask for extra spicy. We also ordered grilled chicken with chicken rice and grilled beef with chicken rice - their chicken rice was well seasoned and would go well with any dish. Grilled chicken was ok, nothing fancy, grilled beef was ok but a bit blain. We wanted to try their Moo Krob - but full serving wasn't available at the time which was a bit disappointing. So we ordered Leng Zaap M size ($24.90) to try instead - the serving is very big (again, standard spice level had enough spice but for those with a higher spice tolerance, you may have to ask for extra spicy. ) Overall experience was good ,price was a bit high but when compared to the portion , it was reasonable. We ended up spending around $85 for the 3 of us - 4 dishes (already with the discount). They have a 10%discount off...

My friend and I ordered the penang (red) curry and it was not good and I would not recommend anyone order that. It had a curry base with about 2 cups (or more) of water - so had a very watered down diluted flavour. The curry was on the soup page on the menu - but I thought the soup would be different from the curry (maybe that was my error?). I would not eat that again. The service however was very good and the venue was cheerful. I would go back and try another dish because the venue smelled of delicious spices and maybe I just picked a bad dish. I struggle to believe that anyone would say the curry tasted good. My recommendation is to reduce the amount of water in the dish or advertise it as a soup. If it is a soup, it needs much more...

We had lunch at this place on recent wet weekend day and ordered the yen tofu soup and new on the menu fusion dish i.e. stir-fried macaroni with pork slices. Both dishes are good, especially the soup was nice and authentic Thai staple. The menu has extensive dish options and we'd like to try other dishes in the future. Prices are comparable with their competitors in the area. Services were a bit patchy and slow since they were busy at weekend. The place's ambience is average for Thai joint in the CBD, but you can have good time since the place is rather large. You can pay with V / MC credit cards but pay standard surcharge of 1.45%.
