Pappy's Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

This is an awesome small bar! We love coming here after work and has become our go-to place since it is conveniently around the corner from our office. Great atmosphere and music in a bar that has some cool decor. The bar staff are really friendly and nice rotation of Australian craft beer! The food is awesome, too and I can't go past the buffalo cauliflower, fried pickles and waffle fries to go with a couple of pints! Seriously good and addictive! Pappy's also has great happy hour deals and daily specials. A hole in the wall bar/ diner vibe. It was bustling on a Thursday night, dimly lit and loud. I was happy to find a spot inside. No table service, have to order at the bar downstairs. Stairs are really narrow and somewhat scary (I kid you not!)

Food was ok. Veggie Burger was good, came with a side of fries and a good veggie patty inside. Hershey’s Chocolate Milkshake was quite tasty but the cream was just dripping everywhere - seemed like a bit of a lag in preparing vs serving. Cauliflower wings were average - too salty and spicy. Found this absolute gem of an establishment while wandering around town. I saw the reviews and decided to stop in for a couple drinks. Met the owner, Liv who is just lovely. Max and Felix behind the bar were very friendly and helpful, and even hooked me up with some cool swag! Music selection was also on point.
