Disgraceful service. Trust your staff to administer their RSA training. Still instilling on a complete drink ban when I've been going through well known cancer treatment for the third time, coming in sober for trivia, to still be refused service when I've had a long day of appointments and want to enjoy a night with my friends and a drink to relax. The duty manager tossing my Caesar salad at my table in front of others, snatching the table number was the breaking point. Wake up to yourselves And heaven forbid we ask for the table to be wiped down when my salad bowl came sopping wet. The looks for asking politely could the table be wiped down from the young waitress was a further disgrace. Dumping again another patrons meal in the wet spot was further disrespect to paying customers

Great suprisingly large pub just up from the water, with absolutely brilliant food and a wide selection of rooms and open areas to dine. LOCATION: Minutes from the light rail or bus stops and just around the corner from Start City Casino. Street parking available. ACCESSIBILITY: Pram, wheelchair and dog friendly. FOOD: Really high quality decent serving sizes at very reasonable prices. Everything they served up looked/tastes great, even their humble pie! STAFF: Definitely not the most attentive or passionate about their jobs. Not terrible, pleasant enough. OVERALL: Will definitely be back to eat more, can't wait till the renovations upstairs are finished. Great little spaces upstairs, would easily suit events etc.

Such a great location but seriously disappointing food. I ordered the schnitzel toastie special and it was truly dreadful. When the highlight of a toastie is the bread, you know you've failed. It was completely greasy, bland and mushy. The schnitzel was clearly heated in the microwave, so the crumb was wet, the outside was hot and the middle was cold. It was crying out for some kind of acid or pickle to offset the mayonnaise and oil. The fish and chips was equally disappointing. What looked like a large piece of fish was 70 batter and 30% fish. The 30% fish wasn't even good, it was completely overcooked and almost a paste. Definitely do not recommend.

Itās been years since Iāve been here but decided to have a break for lunch whilst out & about with friends around the suburb for a geo game challenge. Friendly service & food was great. My fish & chips ($25) were good, although the fish needed more seasoning. Chips were šš¼the seltzer drink at $13 (seems a bit high which aligns with other reviewers comments about higher drink prices). They weāre doing construction inside so opted to dine outside.

Having tried many of the pubs in Pyrmont, I would have to say the bistro food here has been some of the best I've had. We had the market fish and roasted veg root bowl; both presented and tasted great. Limited vegetarian options (mushroom buger, chilli con carne and this), but I did notice meat free fish and chicken add ons.
