I cant comment on the food and drink here as I never tried it but I am so saddened and disappointed on how my husband was treated this evening. He had 1 beer and we were standing and chatting with 3 others and he was told by staff 1 he had to leave after he finished his drink as he had too much. I was surprised and explained to them that I was his wife (so I would look after him) and they could see I wasnt drinking. We then sat down and 10 minutes later whilst my husband was still drinking his same beer , staff 2 said he had to leave within the next 5 minutes as he was taking too long with his drink. Again we were chatting the whole time, with the same group of friends and I just couldnt understand why my husband was being told to leave. I asked as I was so curious, they said those were the orders they received and they were there to action it. Staff 1 then came back and said my husband needed to go. We realised it could have been my husbands eyes as they appeared bloodshot/red due to his contact wearing. So we asked, was that the reason and then staff 1 looked at us and said, okay as long as my husband didnt do anything, that he could stay. We then had staff 2 come back within a few minutes and say my husband had to go now, we told him we were just given the okay from staff 1 but he didnt listen. Honestly I am annoyed about what transpired this evening as there was no fair reason given to us about why my husband had to leave the hotel. We are not from the area and it was our first and last time here. We left at approximately 12.34 am, 3 July 2022. I am normally not one to write but something wasnt right about how my husband was treated tonight and if it was discrimination due to his appearance , it needs to stop as one cant help their appearance or if their contact wearing causes red eyes etc. Not trying to target particular staff here as they are doing their job but something has to change. Perhaps a review of the Crown Hotels approach, protocols etc when working out whether patrons are eligible to remain at their...

The Crown Hotel in Parramatta is hands down one of my favourite places to go out. Whether it’s a spontaneous night out or a planned catch-up with mates, this place never misses. The energy is always high, the music hits just right, and the staff make the whole experience even better.
I’ve been going here for a while now and it’s honestly one of those spots that just keeps pulling you back in. The bartenders are absolute legends – super fast, friendly, and always up for a laugh. They remember faces too, which just adds to the welcoming vibe. Drinks are always spot-on and reasonably priced, which is a massive win in my books.
Security at Crown are also top-tier – they’re firm when they need to be but never aggressive or rude like you get at some places. They’re professional and respectful, and you can actually have a conversation with them without feeling like you’re being judged.
The layout of the place is awesome too – there’s always space to move, dance, or chill depending on your vibe. Whether you’re there for the dance floor, live music, or just hanging with friends over a few drinks, it caters to everything. And the crowd? Always buzzing, always fun, and always up for a good night.
It’s also super central which makes it easy to get to and from, and there’s a bit of everything nearby if you want to kick on or grab a feed after.
Honestly, The Crown is one of those spots that just gets it right. If you’re looking for a fun, reliable, and energetic place to let loose in Parra – this is the one. 10/10 recommend and I’ll definitely be back...
Read moreVery disappointed with this place. I had a $300 voucher to spend at the venue. I had my sister coming to visit so wanted to take her out with friends, Sadly one of my friends from our group got there before the majority of us and found out that they had no bistro as it wasn't built yet and wasn't willing to help out with getting some sort of food as this was a dinner/drinks catch up and wouldn't think a venue would like to be responsible for intoxicated people in the venue along with the voucher being due to expire and not having a working bistro we could just get something small so we had some food in our stomach, but that was a no.
The manager that my friend spoke to gave my friend a fake email and i even called several times with no answer at all. So i sadly wasn't able to get the voucher extended due to false information by management and now have lost out on spending the $300 voucher. poor management and just really upsetting with poor customer service skills and picking up the phone would be...
