Lemongrass Takrai — Restaurant in Sydney

We had a disappointing take away experience. We ordered pad thai and green curry, both vegetarian. The Pad Thai, which is described on the menu as having bean sprouts, vegetables and tofu, didn't contain anything except rice noodles and a couple of pieces of broccoli. Cheap! The vegetarian green curry, which is priced the same as beef and chicken, didn't contain any tofu either, which seems odd and again, pretty cheap.

The food did come on time though.

They should call it Potato Restaurant instead of Thai restaurant! Ordered massaman beef, the curry had little beef, was full of potatoes with the gravy thickened with melted potatoes! Ordered vegetable puff, all it had inside, you guessed it, was potatoes....the flavours in all dishes was off, didnt smell like Thai, was more like Indian and others...

I have had takeaway from Lemongrass countless times and it's always good; the staff are very friendly and the place is always spotless. There's a surprisingly large and quiet courtyard out the back if you want to dine in. Favourite dishes include mussaman curry, ginger or cashew stirfry and the rice...
