Today’s breakfast experience was a real test of my barista patience. My soy latte was a bitter disappointment—literally. The espresso was so over-extracted it tasted like someone had brewed despair. Clearly, the coffee machine hadn’t been dialled in, because no shot should taste like it’s been cremated twice. The milk was another story: over-steamed, thin, and watery, with no trace of the microfoam that gives a latte its silky texture. The foam disappeared faster than my will to finish the cup, and the latte art attempt? Let’s just say I’ve seen Rorschach tests that were more cohesive.

The smashed avo was the cherry on this underwhelming sundae. $15 for two pieces of toast so thin they were practically crackers, and a smear of avocado that barely covered them. For that price, I could’ve swung by Woolies, bought the ingredients, and still had enough change for a block of chocolate to cheer myself up.

It’s clear the team’s trying, but maybe start by dialing in the machine—and the...

Extremely rude and moody staff; everyone of them. Add to that how they, all of them, can't get the order right. This is not once but almost every time we were there. Most of their products are never fresh and they claim they are and charge us the price of a 5 star restaurant. On top of that, the staff are against hygiene. One of them was picking thei nose, and the other wiping their sweat off their forehead with their hand, then both continued to touch customers' plates and food. I'm not sure how the regulatory authorities are allowing them to continue with the business 🤔. One more, don't bloody check out every good looking guy and girl who walk into your shop, then walk back and...

Nothing special for those looking for a good coffee. I ordered a Flatwhite and received something like a latte, with too many bubbles and no latte art, no wonder it didn't have a latte art due to so many bubbles. I kindly asked to make me another coffee, a real flatwhite and I received this coffee in the photo, which was closer to a flatwhite this time, but very weak taste of coffee, you can see the colour in the photo it looks like a poor weak coffee, without flavor of coffee. Who knows how many seconds that coffee shot has gotten when they made it. Perhaps it would be interesting to improve the...

We stayed at a nearby hotel that wanted to charge double the price of the beautiful breakfast that we had here. We sat outside under the umbrella, just enough protection from the sun but we were still able to enjoy the morning sun. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. The portion sizes are great value for money. The coffee was a little bit on the bitter side for us. May have been because we were so early, the pipes may have still had a bit of cleaning product in them. Other than that everything was spot on. There is also plenty of cabinet food to choose from. We will definitely be back.

This place was average, not much to say except that we were desperate for food as we just landed in Perth and had our luggage and this was the first place in the city we found to eat breakfast at, I got the smashed avo which was underwhelming, I wish there was more avo and colour and maybe add a poach egg to it to slice the dish up a bit more, my friend got scrambled eggs with halloumi which was delicious and bacon. Latte was average also and orange juice was not great the brand they use was way to thick and pulpy, felt like we were drinking straight pulp rather than any actual orange juice
