Patty Whack Burger Shack and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their food and the convenience of their location. Nestled in the heart of Perth at Shop 3/142-150 Murray Street, this burger joint is ideally situated near several shopping centers, making it a perfect stop for either a quick bite amid a shopping spree or a relaxed meal. The presentation of the food isn't particularly eye-catching. However, the taste more than compensates for the lack of visual appeal. It's a classic case of not judging a book by its cover. The buns here are incredibly soft, almost melting in your mouth. They provide the perfect vehicle for the delicious patty, which is the true star of the show. The patty itself is flavorful and has a strong, enticing aroma that encapsulates the essence of a great burger. It's cooked to perfection, offering a juicy patty wrapped in a slightly crispy, making every bite deeply satisfying. What truly sets Patty Whack Burger Shack apart is the harmony of their condiments. The bun, patty, sauce, and pickles come together in a symphony of flavors that are both complex and well balanced. The integration of salty, sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy notes creates a multifaceted taste experience that keeps you coming back for more. The sauce adds a delightful creamy and tangy layer, complementing the savoriness of the patty without overwhelming it. The pickles, on the other hand, provide a satisfying crunch and a tangy kick that cuts through the richness, creating a balanced flavor profile. Despite the unremarkable presentation, each bite of the burger is extraordinarily enjoyable and fulfilling. It's evident that the focus here is on quality and taste rather than fancy plating. The location of Patty Whack Burger Shack is fantastic. Its proximity to major shopping areas in Perth makes it an incredibly convenient spot to grab a meal. Whether you're out shopping or just in the neighborhood, it's well worth a visit. Patty Whack Burger Shack may not win any awards for presentation, but it more than makes up for it with the quality and flavor of its food. The soft buns, flavorful patty, and well-balanced condiments create a delightful eating experience. Coupled with its prime location, this is a burger joint that deserves a high recommendation. If you're in Perth and looking for a delicious burger, this is the place to go.

We got the Swiss Patty burger, the crumbed chicken burger, chips and a drink can. The crumbed chicken burger had a great crunch, with juicy delicious chicken. 1 bite had unpleasant gristle but was otherwise good. A chunkier, less flat, piece of chicken would be better, but having said that I’d order this again. The Swiss Patty burger was very tasty - even for someone who’s usually not keen on mushrooms. The beef patty was delicious and juicy, cooked perfectly. Only downside was it was just soooo messy to eat! All the mushrooms and sauce fell right out from all sides making it really difficult to enjoy and eat properly. The sloppiness gave the burger no holding structure, even in the paper wrapping which was soaked by the gravy. The hot chips/fries were fine but I unfortunately caught a few questionable tasting ones - almost soapy-water tasting? Not sure why, probably just an anomaly, but it put me off having any more. I’d go back for the chicken burger, and maybe try a wrap or some loaded fries next time.

Stopped in at Paddy Whack in the CBD. Had a Smokey Beef Burger with Curly fries and really enjoyed both. Curly are usually my least favourite fry choice, but these were cooked just right. The Smokey Beef Burger was Beef, Cheese, Onions, Bbq sauce and a beef rasher on a potato bun. I initially thought they meant "bacon rasher", but no. As said it was a thin slice of beef smoked like bacon. The burger was delish. Good flavour for BBQ fans and juicy, while not overly messy. My main takeaway from this place is good, simple burgers at a good price. In this golden age of burgers, great burgers aren't hard to come by, but it can cost you. Here though their whole range was priced from $7.90 to $17. These kind of prices are not overly common for a quality burger, especially in the CBD.

A Delightful Culinary Adventure at Patty Whack Burger Shack

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Patty Whack Burger Shack, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. As always, from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable meal. My mum and sister were visiting from south africa and I highly recommended we have a memorable meal.

We decided to try the Swiss Burger with Mushroom Sauce and the Beef Foot Long Hot Dog. Let me just say, we were in for a gastronomic delight.

The Swiss Burger with Mushroom Sauce was a masterpiece of flavors. We requested for the Swiss cheese to be omitted and was happily accommodated. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and bursting with savory goodness, topped with a beautiful mushroom sauce, every bite was a harmonious blend of earthy, umami-rich flavors. The freshness of the ingredients shone through, and the burger bun was soft yet substantial enough to hold everything together. It was, without a doubt, one of the best burgers We've ever had.

The Beef Foot Long Hot Dog was equally impressive. It was clear that the owner takes pride in sourcing high-quality ingredients. The hot dog itself was juicy and had a satisfying snap to each bite. The toppings were a delightful mix of flavors and textures, making each mouthful a symphony of taste. It was the perfect comfort food with a gourmet twist.

The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to offer recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

To complement our meal, we also indulged in some of their signature beverages, which were just as impressive as the food. The restaurant's commitment to quality extended to their drink offerings, and we left with our taste buds fully satisfied.

In conclusion, Patty Whack Burger Shack is a hidden gem for burger and hot dog aficionados. The Swiss Burger with Mushroom Sauce and the Beef Foot Long Hot Dog were nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu. Tempted to try out the Bushranger Burger, made with exotic camel meat! If you're looking for a place that combines delicious food with a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service, look no further than Patty Whack Burger Shack. It's a culinary adventure you won't...

I’m going to preface this by saying I don’t remember the last time I left a review anywhere and after ordering here I was compelled to do so. Despite living 10 minutes from this place it has slipped under my radar and after seeing a food review on tiktok I just had to try it.

Swiss Patty burger Buttered potato bun, patty whack special sauce, beef patty, mushroom gravy, swiss cheese and dill pickles. $17

It was HUGE. The bun held together all that special sauce and mushroom gravy which had loads of beautifully sliced soft mushrooms. The pickles were crunchy and the beef cooked perfectly. The cheese was the perfect touch - stringy and complimented the mushroom flavour really well.

Two piece chicken and chips $8.50

This could have been a meal in itself, with nice and crispy chicken thigh that was well seasoned with a little spice and not too oily. More chips than what most burger places would call a large. Really well priced and I’d try tenders if they were an option too.

I ordered to go and it was ready super quick, hot, fresh, napkins in the bag, everything you’d want. Can’t wait to try the cheesy jalapenos and dynamite loaded fries...
