I booked from the reviews, this is more for young ladies night out, cheap alcohol with lots of bread. I say lots of bread as they tried to bring out more and more, we had to tell them no. We came for the bottomless dinner package , we brought the premium package, beware they state it’s free flowing beer wine ect only to find out it’s limited for example the beer, one option, swan draught, not a fan, most bottomless dinners have a selection of tap beer, or at least a selection. If they stated this in their adverts I wouldn’t have booked. We love eating and trying different places in Perth this place however, is more for a party with dinner, the music is loud like really loud for dinner. The espresso martini was the only good thing of the night, the Aperol sprits were not consistent, honestly not great, one had more Prosecco than the other which threw out the flavours and taste. Service not the best, we had 3 ppl serving us all 3 asked what our package was on each order which was annoying. We were crammed into a corner which was not ideal every time the table next to us stood up to take photos we literally had their butts in our face. The food was hit and miss hummus was nice, the arancini balls were not nice had way too much cheese, all the servings were teeny. 5 dishes came out not one seafood inspired. We tried to stick it out but the experience became depressing disappointing for the bday person that we left. We told the owner (I think), tried to offer another choice but by then it was too late. Not what was advertised. Not worth the $320 + we dropped. I’d recommend Gypsy Tapa House in Freo for the same price we had delicious tapas bigger cicchetti and amazing cocktails all night with...
Read moreVery disappointing experience on Saturday night. My friend and I were excited and anticipated having a really great night at Sassy. Unfortunately this was not the case… we paid for the Premium Bottomless Package, we experienced; Espresso Martini on arrival ✅ and a very small dish of mixed Olives, after this we waited up to an hour for our next dish out of the 8 course degustation 2 hour sitting, small bites of turkish bread (not warmed) and a smear of 2 dips in a small dish came next, the cucumber dish should be replaced(what the point of it?) and the Chef’s choice should be a quality representation of the Chef’s skill and expertise, 8 pieces of store bought rigatoni placed on a drizzle of olive oil with a sprinkling of parmesano, what the heck!! when this came out we were so disappointed and felt we definitely wasted our $80. In addition to this, we weren’t receiving free-flowing prosseco and worked out that in the 2 hour sitting we drank 7 glasses each, not exactly free-flowing… as we were upstairs each time we wanted to use the bathroom we had to walk down stairs and walk through a very narrow corridor where people were standing at the bar or trying to socialise with their group. It was so awkward! This venue needs to rethink their design, purpose and what they serve to their patrons on a busy...
Read moreThe atmosphere was lively, and the venue was nice. I was looking for a place that serves drinks and offers a bit of food. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I opted for the $29 special. The food took 1 hour and 3 minutes to arrive.
Starter (Bruschetta): The waiter suggested the appetizer as a good option for sharing, but to my dismay, we received only one crostini with tomatoes. It hardly qualifies as an appetizer. Main 1 (Rustica Pizza): This arrived cold, as if it had been forgotten on a bench in the kitchen. It was supposed to be a Sicilian pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and cheese, but there was hardly any sausage on it, despite ordering it for the meat. Main 2 (Pasta): The pasta was very salty and came with only four small slices—hardly a main course. After waiting for 2 hours at the venue, we left without having dessert.
Kind of disappointed, but I guess that's the risk you take when...
