Kaiser Max Restaurant — Restaurant in Innsbruck

The service of the restaurant is worst. I never been to such disgusting restaurant ever. There were 2 guys serving the orders. We had some of our packed items which we just kept on the table because there was no spare chair. One service guy just came and said can you remove it from the table. Then when placed the order for drink we ask him to also take our order for food but the guy came and said no I am stressed and I will not take your order. He just asked us to pay even before we finished our drink then we paid. We had a small a small girl she was hungry .. we just gave her a packet of chips to eat because the restaurant did not take any order, the guy came and started screaming don’t eat this and infact took my drink away without even asking me. There was no supervisor or manager to hear about what happened. The staff was just so rude and horrible. If you really care about the reviews please investigate this issue. Its just not about opening a restaurant in centre because you are aware people will any how come and eat, its also about serving the customer well which was not at all there. This is my worst experience ever I had.

I checked your reply .. actually I should have recorded a video of what happened there. There is no mcdonald’s close to your restaurant. So atleast don’t lie and have some humanity. It clearly seems you don’t want other customer to see the reality of your staff and so just making a story here. Anyways whatever I wrote was my real experience and feedback so better work on your behaviour rather than playing a blame game here.. and making false story. I think that would be better for you and your restaurant. Tourist visit the city and restaurant to have a good experience not worse like you...

We are staying at the apartments here and thought it would be nice to come down for dinner. SUCH a rude and arrogant waiter treated us like absolute rubbish, causing our small son to cry and completely ruining the evening for us.

EDIT IN REPLY TO BELOW: our son was not crying from the wasps, he was crying because the female waiter had allowed us to sit on a table for four so we could watch the street musicians while we ate. The arrogant waiter made us move to a table for three which was positioned facing a big pillar with no view of the street or musicians. We did not happily agree to move, we told the waiter he was rude and he just shook his hands at us and said he didn’t care. Our son then got very upset as he didn’t understand why he wasn’t allowed to sit and watch the musicians. It wasn’t even busy so there was no reason for him to move us. None of the other customers thought our attitude was strange, in fact one couple said they were sorry that the waiter had acted in the way he had. Even the female waitress was embarrassed and tried to speak to the male waiter, who also shouted at her. Clearly he doesn’t know how to treat anyone with respect. Like I said, the waiter was arrogant, and this is clearly shown in his reply and lies to this review. Many replies from the restaurant to bad reviews are the same, as you will see if you read them, always blaming the customer and suggesting their attitude is strange. I guess they don’t care because they’re in a prime location and will get customers regardless of how they treat people but there are plenty of much nicer restaurants...

Good day, we visited the restaurant with my wife at the beginning of February. It was Wednesday around 5-6 pm. We had a chance to see many restaurants in Innsbruck. Kaiser Max is located in core center of the city. The food was truly of good quality and served very fast. We had starters and main course and Kaisserschmarrn. Also we took a bottle of local (Austrian) wine- Moscatel- I do recommend. The atmosphere of the venue is maybe not a great one, but all is very clean and properly lighted. We paid for 2 persons ca 60-65 EUR (incl a bottle of wine), which I recognize as very fair price. It is definitely good place for lunch with family or just alone but would not recopies as "romantic" place. I recommend it for "beginners" at Innsbruck restaurant map, as you might experience there a very proper quality of Innsbruck and Austria...
