We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Douro Restaurant with a group of friends, and it was truly an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, we could tell this place was special.

The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was carefully prepared with passion, and you could taste the dedication in every bite. Whether you're a fan of Afro/brazilian cuisine or just looking for a fantastic meal, this place delivers on all fronts.

What made the experience even more remarkable was the one-man show—the owner single-handedly took care of everything! He cooked, took orders, served, and still managed to make everyone feel welcome with his warm and positive energy.

I had the best experience at this hidden gem in Salzburg. I went there after finding them on Google. Even though I had seen great reviews, I had no expectations.

The food was delicious— the mango ceviche tasted like it was straight from Brazil, the tacos were amazing, and the cherry on top was their traditional desserts made by the owner (brigadeiro and variations with coconut and condensed milk).

But the true highlight was the owner. Wow! She is such a personality and brings all the soul to this place. Even if the food hadn’t been perfect, I would still give 5 stars just because of her. That’s the effect she had on me.

My family and I had the pleasure of finding this place in search of hearty, comfort cuisine in the heart of Salzburg last week Wednesday. Angela absolutely WONDERFUL! She not only met us with warmth and so much confidence, but she went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, seen, and full. Her food speaks for itself—rich, flavorful, and made from the heart.
