My Mom's Bakery — Restaurant in Salzburg

No,no,no,no! Why four no's? This is a corporate run coffee shop with four My Mom's in Saltsburg. Mom must be pretty busy and corporate minded. Nothing is made on site. Everything is made at a central location then shipped out in crates. The cinnamon rolls look fabulous but are dry and crusty. Lemon. Pistachio, and Carrot cake we're all dry and tasteless. Mom needs to go back to her mom and learn how to cook or bring in grandma to the kitchen. Really, don't waste your time euros and here. Yes it's cute and cozy and the actually have something that looks like an oven but I think it's only a prop. Why do I think that? Because I asked to have our three cinnamon rolls warmed up and all I got was a blank stare...the response was ahhh...we don't do that. Then what's the oven for? Response...ahhh we don't do that. The corporate heads need to forget the marketing ploy and find a good pastry chef...

I came here with my mother because of the name and all the great reviews and yet i was still not prepared for how comfortable, cozy and tasty this experience was!!

They have a great variety of drinks - from coffees to smoothies to teas! And big bonus points for all the vegan options with almond and soy milk!! Was super refreshing to see vegan cakes on the menu too! The vegan cinnamon rolls looked amazing, but i tried the red velvet cake and wow it was super moist and not too sweet - just right!

The atmosphere is comfortable and calm and as someone who is neurodivergent (apart from the occasional coffee machine noises) i wasn't overstimulated at all! They are playing calm music and the room is pretty small but thats what makes it feel so at-home!

Super cute café! The ladies who were working were very friendly and upbeat. They offered some good recommendations. They offer a great selection of teas and smoothies, alongside a big variety of cakes, cookies and sweet treats. We tried the chocolate fudge cake and the raspberry cake. They were juicy and moist as well as delicious. The cinnamonroll we had was also good! Everything looked fresh and just delicious. A great few vegan options as well. You have the option to grab things to go as well! Great if you need a sweet treat throughout the day. Definitely recommend for a quick breakfast or afternoon treat! P.S. Great food-waste reduction with their "Too good to go to waste" initiative. You can get cakes that were left over from the previous day for a reduced price. Make sure you get there early too take advantage. By 11.30 they were all gone....
