What a HORRIBLE experience we had!!!
This restaurant is now known as GIOVANNI...
And that is all because of the short sized waiter with a beard. He is in the wrong profession. Needs to learn a lot about customer service. In our conversation i was the only one smiling, despite he being ABSOLUTELY RUDE to us. And my smile soon faded away. He felt as if he was doing us a huge favour by serving us. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR.
He made us get us from a 4 seater table and asked us to move to another 4 seater table whilst the reataurant was not busy. "You cannot sit there" was his order to us, despite it being only less than 2 feet away.
We were deciding upon our dishes to order and he was showing frustration quite visibly. We decided not to order more and told him about his RUDE behaviour and not tipping him. "I DONT WANT YOUR TIP" was his response. No apology given.
Briefed the owner/manager about it. He dismissed the whole thing by saying he didnt understand English.
Do not go there and do not interact with the short size...
Read moreWe were seated at the rear of the restaurant, next to the kitchen, close to a fake dusty olive tree. Flies were flying around. We ordered pizza, the service was rather quick, and we soon received them. To be honest, they looked rather miserable. The margherita barely had anything on it, it was brown and dry. The pizze were rather difficult to cut because we were given butter knives to deal with them, and also because of their remarkably resilient structure: other guests were having so much trouble cutting their meal that they were laughing out loud about it. During the meal, my seat was kicked maybe ten time by the waiter and the waitress who were rushing behind me. On top of that the place was not cheap: all in all it was an...
Read moreWe arrived in Salzburg late one evening from sightseeing and were sadly not well received by 3 other restaurants before we made our way to this stop. It was LATE and we were starving. We were nearly convinced we’d be reduced to eating trail mix and pretzel bread before we stopped to ask if they’d serve us. Not only did the welcome us, they greeted us warmly and took our orders with kindness and exuberance.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming on a rainy night. The waiter spoke fluent English with us tolerated my lame attempt at ordering in Italian. The service was prompt and the table was spotlessly clean. The food though was the best part. Baked lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, and pesto ziti. All delicious, hot, fresh, with deep flavor. A great recommendation on a glass of red made the meal...
