I had the pleasure of dining at Royal Indian and Italian Restaurant during my visit to Salzburg, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting ambiance.

The Indian food was absolutely outstanding — rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and authentically prepared. I tried the Aloo parotha, mix pakoda, Indian tea and mango lassi and every bite was delicious. The dishes were well-balanced and clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. It felt like a true taste of India in the heart of Europe.

What really impressed me was the attention to detail and the friendly service. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. Although I didn’t try the Italian menu, it looked equally impressive and would definitely be something I’d come back for.

While in Salzburg, I had dinner at Royal Indian & Italian Restaurant, and it turned into one of the most memorable nights of my trip. The food was fantastic, with generous portions. We decided to check it out after seeing the great reviews, and I’m so glad we did because they were all true!

The owner, who’s also the head chef, was so warm, energetic, and welcoming—it felt like we were guests in his home. His son, Abhishek, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the evening. Even the regular customers greeted us with such friendliness, which made the experience even more special. I never thought I’d want to travel back to a city just because of four amazing humans I had the pleasure of sharing an evening with, but that’s exactly how I feel after dining here.

For the main course, we had their special Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan. We couldn’t leave without trying the desserts, and they were just as amazing.
