Spend more than 15 minutes here! Definitely worth it! Located in Favoritenstrasse near Hauptbahnhof, (the main train station) right after Südtiroler platz. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. That goes for the outside part as well as the interior: as a result, this has to be probably the reason why we had to visit two times to be able to find a seat. It seems that people do appreciate good places when they spot them. The staff was very friendly and helpful both with our coats and the menu Our order come quickly, right on after asking for it The typical Viennese black coffee was nice, same for the cappuccino one As for the treats, there were a lot of options to choose from: so we did: both types of croissants were tasty, the same went for the caramel cheesecake. A very good choice in general Note that at a walking distance you may find a second little 15 sweet minutes Café at Argentinierstrasse, more close towards Belvedere, where you can buy delicacies and/or your coffee and enjoy them at home or as you scroll down Vienna There is a place for 2-3 people to sit inside Both places serve good!

We’ve been there two days in a row. First we got the große frühstück (large breakfast). The second time we went for lunch and got the jägerschnitzel and the salmon. It was all great. We talked to the female waiter about what to do in town, and told her what we had already seen, and she was very friendly and helped us explore a whole new area of Vienna that we didn’t even know was there (Mariahilfer gasse - a shopping street). She even told us how to get there, which bus and which stop to get off at. A great help! Each visit was about €50 for two people. Also the restaurant is right next to bus (13A) and train (U1) so it’s very convenient to get to and from.

The food was very bad--salty, burnt, and had egg shells in it. When we asked politely for a discount (not even a refund) the Manager chuckled and said that we should have asked at the beginning, suggesting that we ate too much of the food to be eligible for a discount (see photo attached of the English Breakfast of which less than a third was eaten). I wouldn't usually write a review, but I wanted to share the feedback about the food because the manager didn't care to ask what exactly made us unsatisfied with the quality of our meal. She was, instead, quick to accuse of us trying to comp a free meal: "next time ask when you first get your dish not when you're paying". I wanted to like the food--we we're catching a 4 hour train shortly after--but it was so horrible that we had to go to another restaurant (Gold Egg -- highly recommend!!). The bacon left a film of oil over the entire dish which was composed of beans in a spicy chili sauce, burnt eggs, two slices of tomato, and two boiled hot dogs. Unfortunately the manager does not seem to care about the quality of their food nor the opinions of the patrons. This can be an effecient business model if you are located next to the train station where you are guaranteed a high turn over on new customers. However, it is unfortunate that our first visit to this city ended with this negative experience. Coming from the Czech Republic, where service norms are notoriously below average, we were thrilled to have had such amazing experiences at all the restaurants we visited during our weekend stay, that is, of course, besides the 15 Sweet Minutes Cafe. This dichotomy has definitely raised questions for us: - to what extent is the customer service at weekend brunch restaurants influenced by it's distance to mass transit areas? - why would you put chili beans in an English Breakfast? And is this a joke? - is there a connection between positively receiving customer feedback on a consumer experience and the languages between interlocuteurs?

The café was very busy when we were there and seemingly understaffed. It took us over an hour from the time we were seated to get our food, and even then, it was only after I asked the waiter to check on it. I watched multiple tables who were seated after us finish their food and pay before we got our food. The waiter told us that different dishes need different times to prepare, but they likely just forgot about us. No order would need 40+ minutes more to prepare, which would’ve been the situation since a table that ordered at the same time as us paid and left 15 minutes before we got any food. That being said, the food was quite good (although the poached eggs were way overdone) and the service staff were friendly despite it being such a busy time.

We came in for a breakfast and got a coffee so far. The saucer was dirty. Not spilled coffee, but dirty as if it hasn't been washed after use for a long time with obviously old dirt. I would not recommend. Sanitary inspection should visit this place! The food was horrible. Kaiser schmarrn is a waste of your money and your time (it's around 40 mins wait). It was burnt and raw at the same time, with visible pieces of egg yolks cooked inside. Plum stew was good but apricot jam is the cheapest jelly from the supermarket. Honestly the chef should not allow thir name connected to this food. Also owners should know what customers think about the food. It is bad! Will never come back, and don't recommend anyone to even try.
