Eissalon Salek — Restaurant in Vienna

We always liked this ice cream shop and decided to buy a ice cream cake for our daughter's birthday! As she saw a vitrine, she preferred ice cream sandwich and lollipop shaped ice cream covered by chocolate instead so we bought 8 of them. As we got home and put it in mouth, we immediately knew that it’s not ok to eat. Even our daughter who loves chocolate and ice cream spit it out. It was obvious that they have been in the vitrine for at least a year..if not, we would like a clear explanation for this. I believe that this place is famous because of its relatively lower price per scoop (1.9€), but to be honest, it's not worth it. We've tried 8 different flavors, and only pistachio and vanila were okay. The rest was a huge disappointment. Moreover, the workers touch the wafles with the same gloves as they take the money!!! That's awful and unrespectful to the clients.

Btw: only cash payments...

Ice cream cone chairs on the sidewalk call you in for gelato. The prices are reasonable and they allow you to sample a few of the many flavors. I tried raspberry and chocolate. My partner had his favorite, pistachio.
