This place has OK food, but the taste is nothing special. Everything we had tasted a bit bland. I have never been to Peru, but I highly doubt this place serves really delicious Peruvian food. They also serve cheaper meat cuts than what's written on the menu, eg. "EL ÚNICO LOMO SALTADO" should contain beef fillet, but it's definitely a much tougher beef cut than that. To be honest, I would never even expect beef fillet in a dish that costs 16,4€. The beef heart in "ANTICUCHOS DE CORAZÓN DE RES" was almost completely cold and super tough. The potatoes in that dish were really good, but the sauces tasted like store bought. The food prices are below average and I assume that's the reason why the restaurant survives. The drinks are a bit overpriced. I ordered a 0,33l non-alcoholic beer (Beck's) for 4,4€.

I guess you cold give it a chance if you want to taste some Peruvian food, but I doubt you will like it that much to come back. The best dish we had was the "EL FAMOSO CEVICHE DE PESCADO CLÁSICO", but again, nothing super special about it.

PS: Thankfully we had a reservation via TheFork with a 30% discount, otherwise it...

I (Peruvian) went with two Finnish, two Belgians, one Australian, one Dutch, one Chinese, one German, and one Serbian for dinner. Everybody loved it! We started with a pisco sour round, followed by two starter plates. The starter plates were ideal! A little bit of ceviche, papa a la Huancaína, yuca frita and causa. Enough for my friends to taste a range of different peruvian food. Then, we had a second round of pisco sour followed by a main course. There was an option for everyone, from the meat lovers to the vegetarian ones. But nobody dared enough to have the anticucho! But I had it, it was really good! Taste wise was like being in Peru. I asked everyone and they all liked their choice. Good taste and good portions. If you are around the area, don't doubt to pass by. Tip: try the crema...

Lovely garden area (although there are mice). The waiters were lovely as well. The food, however, was not to my liking at all. It had some distinct chemical smell and taste, and I am pretty sure it came from them re-using old oil. This lead to me not even finishing the already relatively small dish and having a pretty bad stomach ache all evening long. The dish was also supposed to come with Koriander - which was no where in sight. Given that the ingredients of the dishes were generally not very varied (just tomatoes and onions) the one herb that they adverdised then not even being included in the dish is honestly unacceptable. The quality; quantity; variety and taste of the food do not in any way...

Nice atmosphere. The entrees were a little pricey for what they were, but considering that Peruvian cuisine is considered exotic in Austria, I guess that's understandable. They have only 3 vegetarian entrees but they're pretty tasty, so I'm happy with that. My fried rice was tasty even though it was very salty. My friend got the duck and said it was really good. Unfortunately, they didn't have plantains today. I don't know how often they run out but it's a bit of a mistake for a Peruvian restaurant to run out of plantains, in my opinion. Maybe it was a fluke. Great service. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
