The food was delicious and the service was fairly good, so at first we had no reason to doubt the server or question the bill. This was our very first restaurant visit in Austria, and when we asked for the bill, the server simply brought over the card terminal with a total amount. We paid in good faith without thinking twice and even left about 10% tip in cash, as there was no mention of tipping in the menu and nothing was said by the server. It was only later, after we had already left, that we started wondering how the total could be so high for the few dishes and drinks we had. Since we remembered the prices, we added them up and were shocked to find that the server had already included 20% tip in the total without telling us. This meant we had unknowingly tipped 30% in total.

We’ve never before felt the need to double-check a server’s calculation, but this experience made us feel deceived. If you visit, make sure to ask for a written bill and review it...

Today, 2 July 2025, I was invited to your restaurant for birthday dinner with 25-30 guests at 18.30 pm.

The waiter with tattoo at the back of the neck worked in the area of our tables.

Since beginning he started to ask about drinks but in ROUGH WAY.

Every step he talked or served food was rough way, the manner was not even impolite but treated us like we begged for free food.

The last string is He took French Fries plate out of the hand of Birthday woman. She tried to talk to him but he mentioned about 100 euro. „He spoke in German that how lucky we are to not be charged 100 euro per person“

We all have been to many restaurants in Austria and never experience anything like this. We all live here in Vienna and NÖ.

I am very sad to see Birthday woman got upset and be treated very badly from this man with tattoo...

This place seemed like a good choice given its rating but please read the reviews before going here - they’re spot on. We ordered a seafood salad, which they charge 16€ for and is simply pathetic. The calamari in it has no taste and the shrimps are microscopic. I could have bought a better salad at Billa for half the price. The spaghetti bolognese were ok, but not what you would expect from an so called Italian restaurant. My wife makes better pasta and she’s neither Italian nor a cook. The waiters were ok, but we felt a bit of tension, as if they were in a hurry although the restaurant was almost empty. In the end we received no detailed bill, just the final invoice (which probably included an automatic tip). I wouldn’t recommend...
