I unfortunately had a bad experience at Sweet Treat. I had high hopes due to all the great reviews. The first red flag was that you have to pay for your treatments in full before the appointment. I called about this to see if I could pay afterwards, as this is not something I have experienced before in years of using beauty salons but I was told it’s not possible to pay after, only before. I then unfortunately overlooked this because of all the great reviews.
I booked a Brazilian bikini sugaring and also a hydrofacial. The same aesthetician, Lidia, did both. My appointment was on May 9.
The Hydrafacial - Firstly, there was no assessment of my skin. Zero. She didn’t even look at my skin and went straight into cleansing. She didn’t cleanse my eye area or remove my eye makeup and when I asked her are you going to cleanse my eye area her response was ‘No, I’m not treating that area.’ I was speechless - a facial where your face doesn’t even get cleansed fully, and a hydra facial where your eyes get no treatment or hydration? And this facial costs 150 euro?
I have rosacea and she had no specialist skincare knowledge at all and could not advise me anything about whether the treatment itself was suitable for me or the products being used in the treatment. This was someone who absolutely did not have the training carrying out the procedure. Also don´t expect dimmed lights or soft music or a relaxing diffuser scent - this place has no idea what a facial experience should be.
My sugaring experience was not much better. Whilst I was having my Brazilian another member of staff walked into the room without even knocking. The treatment itself was average at best and when I asked her to warn me when she was going to pull a larger strip of hair (as her method was quite random with no rhythm) her response was ‘This is sugaring, it’s painful.’ Again I was rendered completely speechless at the level of service.
I was expecting to have a relaxing, pampering experience and leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I felt exactly the opposite way. I also felt somewhat scammed having paid in advance for such a poor level of service.
When I’m looking for a beauty salon, I’m not looking for instagrammable interiors, I’m looking for knowledgeable, personable aestheticians in a professional and friendly environment. I will never return here and I hope I save at least one woman from having a similar...
Read moreI have to say, that I really have mixed feelings about this salon. I've always been going there for sugaring or lasers and was really happy about the results and general procedure. However three weeks ago I decided to try a brow lamination ,lash lift and pedicure. And after consideration I would not recommend it. The pedicure result was all in all ok, nails and Schellack have been done really professionally and with attention to detail, but the whole feet treatment was contained to feet soaking, quick on a heels and went straight to the nail work, took around 35-40 min and even receptionist was surprised how quickly it has been done. Brow lamination was the first treatment I did and didn't really know to expect but I was hoping for a more natural result. I ended up with a black eyebrows set straight up making me look like a surprised cartoon character ( my eyebrows though not very thick, the hairs are quite long).I wanted to consult the color of a tint during the procedure, but the beautician was surprised about the question. I would expect considering the price and the level of other treatments a bit more personal approach about the esthetic. I've seen brow laminations that can be done a bit more subtle. Lash lamination was with a slightly better effect, nevertheless the curl of the lushes was so strong that when I had my eye open the lashes were bending, a lot of them have fallen out after one week from the treatment. Unfortunately only after I got home I realized how it looked liked and how uncomfortable the effect was. All in all considering the level of other treatments and the prices I was really unhappy with some treatment and I think that the staff should be further...
Read moreI have a weird experience with this place. I went there many times for manicure and pedicure and I can say that Tatjana is a great specialist. However, the policies of the salon left me wondering, if customer experience is indeed important for the management. The latest example, after which I stopped using their services: I received a promotion in their app saying that there was a discount this month. I booked 2 procedures and when I was done and wanted to pay - they said the discount was only applicable for the procedures that was never done before. THERE WAS NO INFORMATION ABOUT IT ANYWHERE in the promotion or the app. I communicated it per email with the manager, providing screenshots of the ad conditions. I was just told that "it is so" without any proof of where I could find this limitations for this promotion. Is that a way to treat a customer? Especially the one who has been loyal and went there at least once a month? I did not lose too much money on this, but it just feels wrong, I feel lied to, and I just to do not want to go there again. BAD SERVICE!
Upd: there was NO info about the limitations. If you post it somewhere hidden on your website - it is still a deception. If you send an email with an invitation and a discount, you must disclose all the conditions or/and add a link to the full version. Now you just defending yourself instead of admitting you were wrong and providing a compensation. Because of some 30€ you lost a good customer and other, because I am well making sure non of my friends use...
