Went there with my sister for dinner and the starter and the main dish were brought together at the same time for my sister way before me so she had to wait until I got my food as well. Shortly afterward my food came which was a Yukgaejang stew but my starter was nowhere to be seen and I inquire the tanned Asian waiter about it and believe it or not, he told me in an extremely rude manner that I had to specify the starter be brought first before the main course when making my order. I still tipped because the owner was so nice and friendly. The fried chicken was perfect but the broth of the stew tasted just like spicy hot water with 5 shredded pieces of meat, tons of green onions, glass noodles, and an egg in it. No vegetables like fernbrake or mushrooms which I usually get at Sura Restaurant in the first district. I mean I didn't expect the Yukgaejang to taste like what I had in Seoul but even the instant Yukgaejang ramen broth has more depth...

Pretty decent food ruined by horrendous service. Owner was condescending and rude from beginning till the end. He scoffed at us and suggested we were ridiculous for ordering 3 large dishes to share amongst 2 of us. It turned out the 3 dishes we ordered were more than enough because we could hardly finish them (we ordered a jajeongmyon, fried chicken, and a seafood pancake). He again scoffed at us and rolled his eyes when we politely said we didn’t need any drinks.

Since then, he was serving us with a black face and horrible inexcusable attitude.

Toward the end of the meal, I took out my water bottle (filled w tap water) for a sip. He pounced on that opportunity to reprimand and lash out at us in front of everyone. “There is no way you’re drinking your own water - you order from me now!” he said as he coerced us to order drinks.

At the end of it, he still had the audacity to act nice and ask if I was going to tip. Fake and hypocritical....

5 stars are not enough, this is THE best place I've EVER eaten to !!! I went there 4 times during my vacations in Vienna and I already miss the food and the welcome so much. Babida is definitely the best Korean restaurant in Vienna and also the cheapest so don't ever hesitate to go🫶🏽 The owner is the sweetest person, the staff works really hard and the food omg.. so authentic, so tasty, so spicy exactly as I like it, so well presented.. you can actually feel all the love that was put into it🥹 The place is really nice, there's a big TV where k-pop is playing and on 2 nights where I came to eat pretty late, the staff was eating together while watching a K-drama and that was just so sweet, I was happy to be there ! I wish I lived in Vienna only to be able to...

Great. It’s one of the few authentic Korean places you’ll find in Vienna — the food is excellent, and comes just as they deliver it to you in Korea. That’s a must for them, with the place being owned by a Korean family. The bibimbap was just lovely, it comes with beef or vegetarian option available too. The pancake was super delicious — just a warning: if you choose for the one with kimchi, be prepared for it is super hot (spicy). Not kidding you, I’ve seen the people at the other table ordering it and taking a bite .. they were caught by surprise. Service is good, the vibe of the place with K-Pop on, etc makes you feel like you’re in Korea (while in the middle of Vienna).

The food was really delicious! I enjoyed everything I ordered except the desert, which was disappointing. I ordered "Mochi ice cream" and instead of getting actually Mochi ice cream, I was served a normal Mochi cut in small pieces together with 2 scoops of matcha ice cream, definitely not what I was expecting. Aside from ordering desert, I definitely recommend this place if you want to have a taste of Korean food (or at least what I think Korean food must be, because I haven't been there, neither do I know enough to say if it is the "real deal" or not. The service was fast and efficient but not super friendly (which was okay for me).
