Ron Con Soda — Restaurant in Vienna

I have been going to Run Con Soda for 10 years with the same pleasure. Actually, it is the first bar I was brought to by friends when I arrived in the city. I did not know so many people at the time, and Ron Con Soda became my fav place to come sit at the bar and have a nice conversation with the owner after an evening at a concert or before going dancing - and it still is! Cocktails are fresh, fruity or creamy, and I always found it almost hypnotic to watch Mamun's hands cutting lemons, mixing fruits and alcohol to perfection. Avoid at all costs. We just went to this bar - firstly all of their cocktails are JUICE and when we brought up to the manager that there was absolutely no sign of alcohol in the drink, he rudely shouted at us that we don’t understand ‘fresh’ cocktails even though we’ve been drinking for 10 years and live in a European capital city. Didn’t even try to make anything better and at the end, two of us didn’t want to pay because we didn’t touch our drinks and the manager and bar man started SCREAMING at us to get out. The drinks are literally ice and juice and I was watching the barman make the drinks and he didn’t even turn around once to pick up a bottle of spirit. Being customer, guest and friend of the house for over twenty years, I cannot offer an objective opinion - here is why: You can bring your friends, enjoy the drinks and have a good time or bring your partner, even a date or colleague or you might even come here alone - this bar is perfect for every occasion! Beware though: rude or drunk people will have to leave and its not cheap, but the drinks are a work of art and all of the people here will see you as a friend. Come and try it yourself.
