Slammerbar — Restaurant in Vienna

Last week, in the night of monday 13 of january 2025 I was passing/ walking througth Vienna and i enter to the slammer bar just to look around as i wait for My Uber ( i am a tourist i don't leave in Vienna and the night was so cold outside )

The way the bar man come closer to me and scream at me yelling: "to buy something or i should leave " was so rude, with 0 respect

Dear slammer bar Please remember You are a old bored little bar in Vienna Literally My bathroom is bigger than Yours place , You are NOTHING more than a cheap bar that Will close in the next years because nobody goes there , You need to get down of this cloud of fantasy in witch you are , i have been around bars from all over the world and i have never been treat like this

You should treat people with respect You could said gently to me to buy something till My Uber arrive because the bar policy indicate that no one can be in the bar alone without buying something , and i Will definetely has done it

Die Getränke und die allgemeine Stimmung im Lokal waren wirklich gut – die Auswahl war toll und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Leider wurde der Aufenthalt durch das unfreundliche und arrogante Verhalten der Kellner stark getrübt. Sie wirkten überheblich und haben dem gesamten Erlebnis eine unangenehme Note verliehen. Es ist schade, dass der Service so stark negativ auffiel, denn die Getränke hätten wirklich Potential für eine bessere Bewertung.Außerdem die Meldung von dem Kellner: „was zahlst du mir?“ Auf die Frage, ob er deutsche Musik spielen könnte…habe ich sehr frech gefunden. Ich sagte daraufhin: „Von mir aus bekommst du einen Shot“. Seine Antwort: „Was mach ich mit einem Shot? Bestell einen Meter Schnaps, dann können wir vielleicht weiter reden.“ Wollte diese Bewertung eigentlich nicht öffentlich teilen, aber geht nicht anders. Das Ganze hat in der Nacht von Samstag (01.03.2025) auf Sonntag (02.03.2025) stattgefunden….Vielleicht sollten die beiden Herren mal weniger Rauchen gehen, wenn es stressig ist und vor allem weniger konsumieren (man interpretiere es wie man wolle). Meine ganze Familie + Freunde und ich wurden so angesteckt von der schlechten Laune der Beiden. Wir wären wesentlich länger geblieben und hätten viel mehr konsumiert, wenn die Zwei lockerer bzw. bisschen freundlicher/sympathischer gewesen wären.

Best bar in town!

The bartenders are friendly and they are open to play some board games with you like dice poker for example or shut the box. Even other guests come and join for a game.

Amazing atmosphere. All time classics songs playing all night long. Everyone is singing the songs and having a good time. It‘s a nice bar in the middle of Vienna in the bermuda triangle.
